The photos and videos of Summer Glau taken at the Bohemia Mining Days festival in Cottage Grove, OR on July 20, 2013 can attest that, in her own words, she "had an amazing time". She attented the four-day celebration of Cottage Grove’s mining and Victorian past on behalf of the Dizzy Feet Foundation (DFF) for the free city-wide dance class hosted by South Lane Ballet Academy, who is sponsored by a DFF grant.
Find below photos featuring Summer Glau and festival participants, including many students from the South Lane Ballet Academy. It's particularly refreshing to watch Summer posing with adults and childrens who have probably never heard about Firefly, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles or Arrow. Sure, they've been told that Summer is an Hollywood actress but I have the feeling they also have been sensitive to Summer's kindness and genuineness, not to mention that Summer is a former ballerina and she must be a role model for these ballet students. Similarly, this visit to a dance class must have been a homecoming of sorts for Summer, and probably reminded her of her first dance classes.
And now enjoy many happy faces photographed with Summer Glau at Cottage Grove:

Not to me. All Summer has to do is smile, and I know everything will good at that moment. And thank God she smiles a lot, is a the most beautiful smile I have ever seen on a woman before. That and her upbringing, manners, personality and character is what makes this a better world to live in.
