Summer did a short interview for the Sunshine Coast Daily on the occasion of her trip to Australia for Supanova Expo conventions in Adelaide and Brisbane. In the interview, she talks about her desire to dress up her daughter Milena as a mini River or mini Terminator for fan conventions (Yes, yes!), the support of old and new Firefly fans and places to go with her husband Val Morrison and their daughter during their trip to Australia.
"I'm so tempted," she said of dressing up soon-to-be one-year-old daughter Milena for Supanova.

That would be nice. If Summer reads this, I'm pretty sure she will find out quickly that fans love her ideas. I agree that turning little Milena in to a 'first stage endo' cyborg would not be easy as far as make-up goes, as you wouldn't give you child red contact lenses but I suppose she could go for a bit of metal stapled scar or something. She's got plenty of time to think about it and I'm sure it would engender great interest in the future. The same for a River, although I'm not sure how that would work, mind you, that mini River Tam did pretty well in the above post.

Fans attending a convention already have the opportunity to meet Summer's family. For those who can't, I'm glad photographer Joan Allen will soon unveil images from her photo shoot with Summer, Val and Milena, as well as images from Summer's wedding.
And of course I can't wait to see Milena in her River or Cameron costume
