In commemoration of the 175th Anniversary of the Texas Revolution, Director Michael Cerny completed in 2011 an extensive film series of twenty-one Texas history tidbits. Summer is proud of Texas leading the U.S. in energy generated from clean, renewable wind power and recorded this short clip. Enjoy!

I'm glad that the producers of the 'Celebrate Texas 175' campaign called on Summer Glau when they decided to make this clip back in 2011.

That Summer goes green wearing a blue shirt on a red background is maybe not a coincidence; take a look at the Texas flag biggrin

Side note: I realised only today that Texas and France have the same colors: blue, white and red.

Seems like Summer Glau has not a strong Southern accent. But maybe I'm not qualified to say that since I'm french :-)

Most Texans don't have a strong accent... but her pronouncing of "proud" shows that she is a real texan... but I guess living in L.A makes you lose that accent maybe wink

This video was on Vimeo for 4 months. It's a shame we didn't find it sooner and it also illustrates Summer's lack of ways to communicate /advertise her work/public appearances.
