Summer cancels Tulsa Pop Culture Expo appearance due to scheduling conflict

Summer cancels her appearance at Tulsa Pop Culture Expo

Summer has canceled her appearance at Tulsa Pop Culture Expo 2018. The good news is that the reason she is unable to attend the Tulsa event in November as planned is that she has just received a job offer that conflicts with the convention.

Here's Tulsa Pop Culture Expo statement:

Summer Glau has just received a job offer that unfortunately conflicts with the Tulsa event. She is very disappointed to have to cancel her appearance with us next weekend. It is not a decision she made lightly and was really looking forward to attending the expo.

In addition, Karen Gillian is also unable to attend the event. The organizers of Tulsa Pop Culture Expo indicated that refunds will be issued for autographs and photo tickets with those guests.

This news is a little disappointing for fans who had planned to meet her in Tulsa but it's also an opportunity for her to grab a chance of more success, whether it's a guest appearance in a TV show - in Nathan Fillion's new show THE ROOKIE for example - or a recurring role. Of course, we will keep you informed.

We wish Summer the best in seeking to remain on our screens doing what she does best, which is deliver outstanding performances. Feel free to comment on Summer's job offer in the comment section below.

For the record, Summer is still scheduled to appear at Comic Con Paris this weekend.

At long last. :') I sincerely hope that this is for a recurring role.

@Lyle This is the news many of us wanted to read. No clue about this "job offer". As usual, it won't be what we are expecting.
