To celebrate the tenth anniversary of Joss Whedon's Serenity and on the advent of the release of Whedon's sequel to the 3rd biggest film of all time – The Avengers: Age of Ultron, Manchester film company Grimm Up North is bringing Serenity back to the big screen at Odeon Printworks (Manchester, UK) on May 12th! Cherry (or strawberry to make Kaylee happy) on the cake, graphic artist Mute-Art created a shiny custom poster especially for the 10th anniversary screening.
Cosplay is encouraged, expect prizes, free gifts and other Whedon-themed goodies.
For the record, Serenity premiered at the 59th Edinburgh International Film Festival on August 22nd, 2005.
