Sci-Fi Talks - Interview with Summer

Summer Glau in Alphas

IGN wasn't the only media at the phone interview with Summer Glau, with a view to advertising the season finale of Alphas. Tony Tellado has published the Q & A with Summer Glau and executive producer Bruce Miller for Sci-Fi Talks.
In the teleconference call, Summer Glau spoke of why she loves and gravitates toward sci-fi. “I find roles in sci-fi for women exciting, dynamic and outside the box,” she said, adding that she feels blessed to have played so many “kick-ass girls.” Her biggest joy on “Alphas”? Playing a mom, which she's never played before. She described it as “fertile ground for me creatively.”
Bruce Miller says "Summer was an absolute pleasure to have on the show and would love to see Skylar and Zoe the focus of an Alphas based Web series." Summer had a blast working with the young Skyler Wexler who plays her her daughter Zoe.
Summer also talks Knights of Badassdom, Help for the Holidays, Supergirl, how much she’d love to do a guest role on Game of Thrones and coming back to her Firefly family (Nathan Fillion mentioned the possibility of a Firefly Animated Series at recent NYCC).
Read the complete interview 'Alphas Season Finale Q And A' at Sci-Fi Talks.
Don't miss Alphas second season finale tonight at 8/7c on Syfy. As a bonus, Summer Glau will be live tweeting from @AlphasSyfy.
