Inside The Box - BTS video with Regina King

The production team of Inside the Box has released a Behind the Scenes video about Regina King, who plays Stephanie Miles, the district attorney, in the movie. Writer and Director David Martín-Porras gives mores more details about Regina's role and explains why he choose her for the role. There's also a few new shots of Summer Glau as Sofia.
Summer Glau plays Sofia, the wife of a Texan cop (Matt, played by Wilson Bethel) who is forced to face a secret that he's been hiding from her in an effort to keep his family together when the local District Attorney (Stephanie, played by Regina King) comes knocking.

Once the film is complete and we get to see ITB. I think that it should be interesting to watch.

I've always respected Summer as an actress because, she is really down to earth. She's the kind of girl  that you want to go conventions to and wait in line for that few seconds just to see what she's like in person. Personally, I'd probably act like an idiot and try to ask her out. That's just me though.
Another reason is with her work in Inside the Box. I know what it's like for secrets to be kept from someone and when it does come out your whole entire world is blown away. Everything you know is turned upside down and you're left standing there like what just happened and how do I go back to normal? It never does go back to can only move on.
The reason is my Dad has stage 4 brain cancer and right now it's like how do I deal with this. I never had a parent this sick before and especially with cancer. Seeing the trailer for ITB and Summer's performance helps me deal with that in a way; but just...I don't know...something about that film just helps. That's why we should support Inside the Box as Fans and know that Summer did this short for VERY good cause.
I wish that I could actually tell Summer that. I really do.

When they get around to making an Obama film, I reckon Regina King should be playing Michelle Obama

I saw this today on twitter:

So many great projects on the table... Which one will start first? It's an exciting time!

Does anybody else get the feeling that this film will never be released and Summer has wasted her time acting in this short film?
Also that anybody like me that donated some money can say goodbye to it?

Inside the Box serves as a teaser for a feature movie "A Texas Story" (David Martin Porras recently got a scholarship to write the script, btw). But the feature movie has little chance to see the light if potential investors have not seen the short version.
Both the short and feature are produced by the same company Panda Productions, which means there won't be any problems coming from the production side.
Small productions companies cannot respect a schedule but that doesn't mean they won't finish it. We just have to be patient.

And it's not like Summer has a busy schedule and missed several interesting job opportunities because of a few days of filming. On the opposite, meeting other actors/producers is always an opportunity for future jobs.
