Summer Glau in Hallmark Channel Help for the Holidays

The Hallmark Channel has released informations on Summer Glau's upcoming Christmas movie Help for the Holidays.
Help for the Holidays, set to premiere on December 9 at 8pm,  is one of the twelve Hallmark Channel original movies scheduled before Christmas.

Be careful the premiere date announced previously at IMDb has been changed to December 9, which means less time to wait before we see Summer as an elf :-)

Hallmark Channel Original Movie World Premiere Sunday, December 9 (8p.m. ET/PT, 7C)

Starring: Summer Glau, Eva La Rue, Dan Gauthier, John Brotherton

Although she loves Christmas, Santa's elf Christine (Glau) wonders if there could be more to life than making toys in the North Pole. When Santa receives an emergency wish from a little boy in Los Angeles, he puts Christine on special assignment, sending her to L.A. to give the VanCamp family - mom Sara (La Rue), dad Scott (Gauthier), and their two kids - a holiday wake-up call.

Glad the premiere date has been changed!

while i haven't seen Christmas movie for a while, i'm sure i will enjoy this one. Also it seems Summer Glau is playing a "rebellious" elf smile

jI hope they release it for downloading /dvd fairly quickly. Sometimes I don't like not having cable! Summer is perfect for this role.

According to the 'starring' line of the press release and also the storyline, it sems that Summer Glau has the lead.

Which means lots of scenes! biggrin

The air time does look weird indeed.
I'm not American but it should be 8pm East time and 7pm Central; though all press release by Hallmark use the same format.
