The first picture leads me to believe that Summer will actually speak in this episode so at least one line is guaranteed IMO.
I knew something was wrong. I just couldn't believe that somebody would hire a known actress for a role where she won't even speak a single line. That she was hired for more episodes and will become more prominent makes more sense.
BTW if Summer becomes a recurring character with a prominent plot for multiple episodes in GA then that's very good, right?

You can count on GA"s writers to add complexity and drama to the mix. Indeed, i think that the fact that Cristina and Emily are working together creates a tension and i'm sure the writers will make a good use of that double level of lecture (personal/professional).
This is why i think that Cristina will not confront Emily about the potential cheating too soon; in this case i wonder if Emily will understand why Cristina is so harsh with her. Once again, this will create a tension inside Emily and be the opportunity to see touching scenes with Summer.

Yes, based on Summer's facial expressions, it appears that there is quite a bit of friction between the two women. If the conflict arises because Cristina is being excessively harsh with Summer then perhaps her suspicions about Owen have not yet come out. In other words, Cristina has not revealed that she is suspicious but she is instead using that fear to drive her harsh and angry treatment of Summer.
I wonder if this could mean that there will be a third episode, perhaps dragging Owen into the mix? Two of the photos suggest that Summer is upset and downcast. If she is upset, perhaps Owen notices this and asks her what is wrong. In turn, this could lead to a growing attraction between Owen and Summer which would be ironic because the act of a jealous woman would result in the exact opposite of what she intended. Owen is clearly the sort of character that wants to be needed by women and he wants a compassionate and caring partner.
I still want to see a plasma rifle being used at some point...
