Firefly Online: Behind The Scenes Interview With Summer

The little albatros herself, Summer Glau, dances her way back into the Verse for Firefly Online as the delicate but deadly River Tam.

The team behind Firefly Online has released the full behind-the-scenes interview with Summer, recorded after her recording session. In this shiny interview, she talks how it feels to create the winsomely-unhinged River, her excitement on stepping into River's (lack of) shoes again, what she thinks River thinks about Mal and much more. Watching a very sweet and breathtakingly beautiful Summer so full of joy while recounting in her lovely Texan accent her Firefly memories or hearing her say those magical River Tam lines again is an unforgettable moment (I think I just got something in my eye, gorramit).

Check out the video of of Summer's interview below.

Here's what the creators of Firefly Online Game say about working with Summer.

I tell you what – working with Summer was one of the highlights of this project for us. She was such a delight – smart, kind and patient. And she worked so intensely. Never had a real appreciation for how hard it is to play River Tam until we saw Summer sweat over each and every line, getting it just right. It was a thing to behold!

The game itself is expected to be released during the Spring of 2015 on Windows and Mac OS desktop via Steam, as well as iOS and Android OS mobile devices.
