Dead End to Premiere at LA Shorts Fest

Summer Glau's short Dead End to Premiere at LA Shorts Fest

Summer's short DEAD END, also starring Witches of East End's Eric Winter and Ivan Sergei, will have its world premiere at the 19th Los Angeles International Short Film Festival.

You may recall that the 6 minute short film was written, produced, scouted, shot, edited and scored, all within 48 hrs for the Producers Guild of America contest back in 2012. In Dead End, produced by German Michael Torres and Eric Winter and directed by Jay Torres, a man who tragically lost his wife and daughter (Winter) get carjacked by a couple of thieves (Glau and Sergei), one of which is the spitting image of his dead wife.

The premiere will be at the L.A Live theater on Monday, September 7 at 5:30 pm. If you're going to be in the Los Angeles area on that day, here's your chance to see Summer Glau on the big screen. If not, you can watch it below.

Summer Glau and Eric Winter also played together in TNT's pilot SCENT OF THE MISSING, based on Susannah Charleson's book of the same name.
