ok i have finished my art. i made it comic book style. to be more specific a comic strip.

please let me know if i have left enough room for the dates and the logo. i can move them inwards if needed.

I like it biggrin

I made a comic book collage for last year calendar myself :

2012 Calendar

Having a grainy background is maybe not the best way to highlight the graphics inside the frames (already grainy) though. As you said, moving the graphic on the left slightly to the right would be better.

Side note : could you reduce the display size of your graphic by using this html code (practice in the test thread):

Code
<a href="Your image URL" rel="lightbox[]"><img src="Your image URL"  width="600"></a>

It was not so easy to insert the logo and calendar, and I had to make some minor adjustments to the graphic. Here is the suggested layout for December.

That the placement and style for the logo, quote and calendar does not follow the same exact same graphical standard as the other months is not a problem. It was the same with chrisdvannes comic book collage in last year calendar.

yes i remember. it sort of gave me the idea to make a comic book style art work. my original design was going to be different but it wasn't working as i had imagined it so i decided to change my design and it worked out better than what i was originally going to do.
i thought that having a grainy background would be too much but it just looked too plain as basic colors.

i have moved the left graphic over more to the right and i will include both with and without the grainy background and let you all decide which looks the best.

edit: i like the change to the layout that you did Fermi. though the graphics are a bit close together. could you try putting the dates on the left of the graphic of River at the door, or putting it left on the background part? and could you try it with both the grainy background and without it too? i could shrink the pics a little to allow more room if needed?

Not anymore if we insert the calendar in the room on the left of the graphic; the position of the logo remains to be determined.

the logo could be where it is. i don't mind it though there is a bit too much empty space on the right side. i'm not sure where would be the best place for it?

Not bad REG, I like it smile

Chrisdvanne, do you have the calendarlogo in png-format? I'd like to have it and try out my idea I had earlier for the cover.

Here is another suggestion one will have hard to see the calender or logo if having it on the grainy background.

Another option is to shrink the hight of the right frame and have the logo outside the frame or in the left frame.

Shrinking the frame will create unnecessary empty background spaces; the position of the logo is fine as it is imo. One can try to insert it in the left frame but i'm not sure it would be better.

that is a good idea. i'll do that now and put the logo outside of the frame.
i left room on the bottom right for the logo. is that enough? if not let me know and i can adjust it further.
