Benefits: More colorful, feature Summers newest movie (actually they filmed this movie before the cape, but it has not been released yet) and the graphic is not so height.
Doubts: The colors might not fit well with the layout. These are good images, but the Orwell shoots still looks better.
This is just a draft I would need to work more to create a banner that looks good enough to switch

The background color can be adjusted.
You should get rid digitally of the red handbag.
Why is the image so dark and blurry whereas they're not on the originals?
Could you find a way to add the full body of Summer Glau in the first released image (sword down) because Summer looks really good in this one. And keep the close up on the left of course.
I should have my own scans of these images next week, maybe you should wait before doing something definitive.

| Lookgs good, good choice of pict.
Nothing prevent you from using another picture of Summer on the right like you did before (similar composition as the actual banner). Preferably a picture that creates movement, not a posing pict like this one.; i think it creates a balance.
Also why do you add so much black on each side of the banner so that Summer is hardly visible; it is also the case for the actual banner.
