What are your thoughts about Arrow 2x22 'Streets of Fire'?

It was a race to save the city before fiery chaos took over in tonight's episode, as we saw Team Arrow and unexpected allies take on the Deathstroke army...and an evil, mirakuru-enhanced, dual sword wielding Isabel Rochev who took on the persona of DC Comics character Ravager. Last week episode "City of Blood" ended with Isabel dressed in her own Deathstroke costume and about to exact revenge on Diggle (and yes, Summer looks pretty darn badass in it!). Who has survived the life-and-death fight between Isabel an Diggle? Well, we don't want to spoil all the fun if you have not seen the episode yet but Felicity saved the day and it looks like Summer Glau has brought back her Terminator
character.
Summer Glau is very good when she plays a good girl but even better when she plays a badass girl and it was a pleasure seeing Isabel embrace her dark side with such enthusiasm.

For an episode before the season finale, it was actually pretty good. It was pretty much showing the beginning of the end (or so it seems).

Although there weren't many highlights with Isabel besides her brief fight with Diggle and her execution of Sebastian Blood for his treason against Slade, one thing we learned about her in this episode is that she has a seething hatred for Felicity. Guess that confirms the feeling's mutual between them. :/

Where will Isabel go from here? Guess we'll have to find out during the season finale next week....

biggrin

Felicity hates Isabel? The feeling is mutual..

No shocking revelations as in last week episode but a lot of action the building of things to come in the season finale (Sara dies and Laurel becomes the Black Canary). Again an awesome episode and Isabel Rochev fully embraced her dark side (Blood is a traitor  wink ).  I think Summer Glau has brought back her Terminator character!

Arrow Season 2 Episode #22 – Streets Of Fire Review, by Chris Beveridge for the fandom post.

Particularly since we get some fun moments such as Isabel having been brought back and taking on a “Lady Deathstroke” approach that’s rather fun to watch since she just chews the scenery nicely with it. While she and Diggle are going at it, Isabel’s treating it as a sidebar fight really since she wants to take out Felicity after what transpired between the two of them. Which makes Felicity’s arrival all the sweeter since she just plots right into her with a truck. not that it does much good at all when you consider the way Slade’s soldiers are powered up at this point and capable of a lot. But it makes for some good fun, especially with the way that Felicity quips about it while Diggle is just nicely suggesting they get out of there quickly.

The tension is pretty nicely done but there’s also a bit of delusion on Blood’s part but he’s managed to protect himself well enough in the end to try and achieve his larger goal – providing the city survives. Blood, however, does not, which is one of the best scenes of the season simply because of the kind of power and intensity that Summer Glau brings to it. While she’s a big pigeonholed because of the roles she ends up getting, she definitely brings something very fun to them.
