I was so excited when I found out that Summer would be doing official photo-ops at Chicago Comic Con this year! She usually only does autographs, and you can pay to take a selfie/have your picture taken on your own phone… but not this year! As soon as I found out, I bought my photo-op ticket. This was Saturday, the day of the panel, and the photo-ops were after the panel, and then they were running an hour late because Summer had got caught up in her autograph line. Finally, she walked by the whole line, waving apologetically and all was well.
I hope everyone gets the Firefly references
In a scene of Firefly 1.01 'Serenity', her brother Simon is about to give River Tam an injection and she sticks out her tongue at him.
In a scene of Firefly 1.10 'War Stories', Jayne bought a crate of apples. A mischievous River stole Kaylee's apple, leading to a chase throughout the ship.
