This could or could not be true. All I know for sure is that on average there are mature facial features that men find attractive in the female face that are unlikely to be found in someone as young as thirteen. So the female faces considered the most attractive on average are not going to have many if any thirteen year olds in the mix. There are certainly no women on any sexiest women alive lists or such things who look thirteen (I am assuming here, but I hope it is a safe assumption).

Maybe there is a misconception in that there are baby faced features that will be common in thirteen year olds that actually are on average attractive. But these features are attractive in female faces of all ages not just thirteen year olds. For example large eyes will be attractive in a thirteen year old, but also in a twenty year old.

What I am trying to say is that attractiveness of the female face will be benefited by both mature and baby faced features, not exclusively one or the other. Generally thirteen year olds will not have the chance to get the attractive mature facial features so will not on average look as attractive as older females who have both attractive mature and baby faced features.

Maybe I misunderstood it, I don't know. They indeed referred to those general traits too which you mention as I recall. And they didn't define either how much girl-like features the attractive females possess. Maybe it was just one requirement for attractiveness the others are the mature ones you mentioned.

Another thing I find interesting. I once knew a girl who had similar features as Summer. She had long brown hair and brown eyes and tiny body structure like Summer. Interesting that she was also had somewhat artistic impulses. She liked to draw, she was good at it and she was acting too occasionally on amateur level( but she stopped doing it now).

She also had strong germanic blood in her. So is it possible that they had the same set of genes which are mainly inherited and found from stricktly germanic population? Maybe they are some kid of "german subtype" of women or something. I have no idea how or where to research this further.

Summer Glau is so awesome, it isn't even funny!

I know absolutely nothing about genetics as it relates to race and ethnicity, but I would be highly skeptical that there are a "german subtype" of women. There should certainly be no conclusions drawn from the fact that you know one person who also shares many traits with Summer along with the same ethnic background. Perhaps there are some features considered distinctive of many females of German blood, but saying there is some subtype seems a bit drastic. My Grandmother and father were both born in Germany maybe I should ask them.

I agree the word subtype is a bit too strong, I searched for words honestly hence my usage of quotation marks. Moreover the girl was Hungarian body and soul and could not speak a word of German or other related languages except English of course so her heritage is from a long ago and she isn't exactly a pure german ( Summer neither I guess). I just wanted to implicate that the gene combinations source may be from german heritage and thus it may be more likely to find in their population.

Maybe their similarity is just a coincidence but they are very similar like if they were relatives and the only link I can find between them is the german heritage.

Maybe they know more. This thing bugs me for some time but I'm not a gene specialist so I have no clue how to know more about this.

If you are a gene specialist and reads my posts, please respond biggrin
