Tricia Helfer is in currently in Toronto, Canada to film 'Christmas Share', a Christmas TV movie for The Hallmark Channel.

Will Tricia Helfer's movie beat Summer's Christmas movie's ratings?
'Help for the Holidays' was Hallmark's most watched movie among the 12 Christmas movie and most importantely, the channel most watched movie OF THE YEAR.

Well, considering that Hallmark is a fast growing channel and is forming alliance with other medias, it could very well happen.

Anyway, Tricia posted a photo of her and one of her co-star on set:

See you in December 2013 for the ratings!

very surprised their was not a sequel to `help for the holidays`2012. considering it was hallmarks most watched movie of the year, are they insane do they not want to make any more money, with a follow-up sequel, surely its a blessing in disguise making another movie, this film had a 6.8 rating on the imdb site, which for me is a very good rating, just doesnt make any sense at all, well its only may at the moment so there is still a chance to approach summer glau for a sequel,

I was surprise too! 'Help for the Holidays' screenwriter Bob Saenz told us in an exclusive interview that there was no talk of a sequel.
More, The Hallmark Channel has already published his programming schedule of Christmas movie for the end of the year and there's nothing about the movie (the shooting has already started, including Tricia's movie)

Yes, it is; IMDB users are movie buffs and by essence they don't like this kind of movie.
More, the other eleven Christmas movies that aired last Winter at The Hallmark Channel as the same time as 'Help for the Holidays' all have all much lower IMDB ratings.

Did you know that Eva LaRue, who plays the busy mom in 'Help for the Holidays', is a long time friend of Sara 'Buffy' Michelle Gellar? The two actresses both played in the serie "All My Children" in the 90's.

If you're into Christmas movies and romantic comedies, specialised blog It's a Wonderful Movie published a review of Hallmark's "Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade", that was part of the original Christmas movies of 2012, along with Summer Glau's Christmas movie "Help for the Holidays".

Hopefully, The Hallmark Channel will release "Help for the Holidays" DVD in the following months.

Strange, but with the disastrous advertising of 'Help..." it is not such a big suprise they would repeat a mistake this way or another.

It's Christmas before time!

Summer' Glau's Christmas movie 'Help for the Holidays' will be rebroadcast on Sunday July 14 at 8/7c at Hallmark Channel

Link: Hallmark Channel

Only selected movies from Hallmark Channel's 12 Original Movies of Christmas will be rebrodcast apparently. Yet the hour mentioned looks weird, it should be 8/7c, and not 8a/7c, don't you think?

Update on the schedule date:

While the Hallmark page for Help for the Holidays mentions 8/7c, the programming schedule mentions Sunday, Jul 14 2013 at 10pm., the later being the correct hour of broadcasting.

So mark your calendars and tell your friends and family!

The Hallmark Channel is a growing channel; it has signed strategic alliances with other medias and is now developping original series.

October Telepic from 'Touched by an Angel' EP to Serve as Back-Door Pilot

Hallmark Channel has greenlit the Original Movie of the Week "Dead Letters" from Touched by an Angel executive producer Martha Williamson; it will serve as back-door pilot, targeting it to become a primetime series.

The two-hour movie stars Eric Mabius (Ugly Betty) as the leader of a group of postal detectives whose mission is to deliver letters and packages from the past.

If successful, Dead Letters would become Hallmark's third original primetime series after Cedar Cove, which premieres July 20, and October's When Calls the Heart.

Dead Letters will premiere on Saturday, Oct. 12 at 9 p.m. with the potential series to air in 2014. The movie is from Special Delivery TeleProductions, executive produced by Williamson, Joel S. Rice, Michael Prupas and Jesse Prupas with Harvey Kahn as producer. Williamson also wrote the script.

Mandatory reminder: Hallmark Channel re-broadcast Summer Glau's Christmas movie 'Help for the Holidays' twice on Sunday July 14, 2013, first at 8AM and then at 10PM EDT?

Today is the day!

Summer Glau's Christmas movie 'Help for the Holidays' is re-broadcast on Hallmark Channel twice, first at 8am and then at 10pm (after 'The Christmas Card').

Don't miss this opportunity to watch or re-watch this cute movie inwhich Summer Glau plays an elf helping a family find their Christmas spirit and fall in love in the process. Also don't forget to invite your mom, grandma, cousins, and their childrens to watch it. Help for the Holidays is a very entertaining family movie and Summer Glau is amazing as an elf.
