Meagan Good Joins CBS' Code Black

Meagan Good is emerging from the rubble of Fox's Minority Report and heading straight for CBS.

The actress, who also starred in NBC's short-lived Deception, is joining Code Black in a recurring role.

First appearing in the medical drama's Feb. 10 episode, Good pays Dr. Grace Adams, an uninhibited doctor fresh off a year of humanitarian work in Haiti.

Oh, did we forget to mention her character is also the former flame of Raza Jaffrey's Neal? Yikes.

Code Black airs Wednesdays at 10/9c.

The Originals: Heroes Alum Taylor Cole Books Arc As Badass, In-Demand Vamp

The Originals is welcoming another good-looking vampire with questionable intentions to its ranks.

Taylor Cole (Heroes) will recur on the CW series as Sofya, a smart, badass vampire whose skills are highly sought after on the black market, though her loyalty remains solely to herself. Sofya is always willing to lend a hand - to the highest bidder, of course.

Sofya will make her first appearance this season in Episode 16.

Cole's previous TV credits also include arcs on Impastor, The Glades and CSI: Miami, plus episodes of Supernatural, Castle and Hawaii Five-O.

Billions Renewed For Season 2

Showtime is bullish about Billions.

The network announced Tuesday that the Damian Lewis-Paul Giamatti drama about the showdown between a hedge-fund king and an ambitious U.S. attorney has been renewed for Season 2.

Billions premiered earlier this month to just under a million viewers and a 0.2 demo rating. In its second outing, it ticked up to a 0.3 rating. The pilot episode, which was available on demand and online starting Jan. 1, had the best-ever debut ratings for a Showtime series, according to the network, with its pilot being viewed by 6.5 million viewers across all platforms.

24: Legacy: Miranda Otto Cast As Female Lead In Fox Reboot

Homeland's Miranda Otto is staying in the spy game, joining Fox's 24: Legacy pilot as the female lead.

The actress will play Rebecca Ingram, the smart and confident former head of CTU who is having second thoughts about her decision to vacate her post. Also of note: She is married to a senator (casting for that role is underway).

Otto is 24: Legacy's second major hire, following Monday's casting of Corey Hawkins as the show's new leading man.

The quasi-reboots centers on a military hero (Hawkins) who encounters a troubled return to the U.S., compelling him to ask CTU for help in saving his life, and stopping what potentially could be one of the largest-scale terror attacks on American soil.

Fox has thus far only ordered a pilot, which will feature nods to prior CTU agents but no ongoing characters - that includes Kiefer Sutherland's Jack (although the actor may serve as an EP on the project alongside Gordon, Manny Coto and Evan Katz).

"I have said from the beginning that the real star of 24 is the idea, and i mean that wholeheartedly, "Sutherland recently said of the revival. "I have every faith they'll do something cool and clever."

The new series would span 12 episodes, similar to the recent, acclaimed limited series 24: Live Another Day.

# 1461 I'll tell you about a series that I enjoy.  It is German with subtitles but does not distract me.
It's called Deutschland 83.
It kinda reminds me of the ITV Encore series, The americans.

# 1462 Thanks Kevin! I will look into this new series called Deutschland 83.

Good to hear about other shows that people are watching especially when they are so many to choose from, and are worth looking into for future reference.

House Of Cards Renewed For Season 5, Showrunner Exits

House of Cards has been renewed for season 5, Netflix announced Thursday, but creator and showrunner Beau Willimon will not return for the future adventures of President Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey).

The news comes in advance of the series' fourth season debut on the streaming service, set for March 4. Season 4 of the hit show will focus on what's to come for the president as he launches a campaign for reelection.

ABC Picks Up Kevin Williamson's 'Time After Time'

ABC is jumping into the time-travel craze this season with a pilot green light to Kevin Williamson's Time After Time.

Time After Time, written/exec produced by Williamson based on the 1979 novel by Karl Alexander, chronicles the epic adventures of young H.G. Wells and his Time Machine using the book and its feature adaptation as a starting point. The studio behind the project, Warner Bros. TV, had been high on it, making "if come" deals with casting directors in the event that it was picked up.

Time After Time is the latest high-profile time-travel project to get a pilot order this season, joining NBC drama Time, from Shawn Ryan & Eric Kripke, and Fox comedy from Phil Lord, Chris Miller and Julius Sharpe. (Additionally, the CW has new time-travel superhero drama series Legends of Tomorrow.

Outlander's Brianna To Be Played By British Newcomer Sophie Skelton

Starz's Outlander has finally cast the role of Brianna, with newcomer Sophie Skelton nabbing the part, the network announced Thursday.

The actress has already adopted red tresses for the role, described in Diana Gabaldon's novels as Claire and Jamie's statuesque, ginger-haired, very smart and rather grounded 20-something daughter.

Per the official description, "Strong-minded and intelligent beyond her years (traits inherited from both her mother and father). Brianna has a distinctly scholastic mind-set and a healthy dose of Fraser stubbornness."

Fans of the books know that though Brianna - sometimes called Bree - is Jamie's child, she is raised in America and grows up thinking Frank Randall is her father. She also spends plenty of time with Roger Wakefield, a part recently filled by Scottish actor Richard Rankin.

Skelton, who hails from Cheshire, England, has appeared in several UK series, including Foyle's War, Waterloo Road and Casualty.

Outlander will return for Season 2 in April.

# 1466 Hiya robbo

(2nd attempt after walking Hank).

If Time After Time comes to the UK, I'll watch/view it.

Interestingly, in the original film The Time Machine http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0268695/
with Guy Pearce & Samantha Mumba, who I'm sure the guys will remember.
In a portion of the film he jumped back to meet his dead girlfriend and try to save her life.  When he went to the park, he encountered the original crook from before but where was his self from that timeline?

Whereas, in Back to The Future, http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088763/?ref_=nv_sr_1
with Michael J Fox, he jumps back in time and encounters himself at a slightly different age.  He also meets another Doc. too.  In one of the films there are 2 Doc.s together.

In TSCC, we have the same latter scenario.  There is even an Allison young foetus, who we don't see, obviously.
I wonder if anybody here remembers this character, whose name appears on a database presented to Agent Ellison by Agent Greta Simpson:
fingerprint ID = Warren L Krazcetak 4-yr old from Canton Ohio - she sarcastically classed him a terrorist.
My question to the TSCC officianados is: who was he and when?

I'll be interested to see how Time After Time is tackled by the writers and team.

"Supergirl" & "The Flash" Crossover Official

It's official - The CW's "The Flash" and CBS' "Supergirl" are crossing over.

"The Flash" star Grant Gustin will appear as Barry Allen on an episode of CBS's "Supergirl" which is set to air on March 28th. Details about the episode will be revealed at a later date.

The crossover will be only one-way for now and will reportedly be explained in-universe due to The Flash's ability to cross dimensions - keeping in line with the current storyline on "The Flash" about a villain that has jumped between numerous ones and has left rifts between them in his wake.

In a statement, producers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg say:

"We are so incredibly excited to announce something that we have dreamed of happening since we starting making Supergirl. We want to thank Grant Gustin for making the time to come visit (on top of his already immense workload) and all of the folks at CBS, The CW, Warner Bros. and DC for working this out. And finally thanks to the fans and journalists who have kept asking for this to happen. It is our pleasure and hope to create an episode worthy of everyone's enthusiasm and support."

BBC One Plans "Rillington Place" Mini-Series

BBC One has announced the three-part drama series "Rillington Place" which Bandit Television and Endemol Shine Group will produce. The story is based on a series of murders that took place in the 1940s and 50s in London's Notting Hill area at the infamous No. 10 building on the titular street.

The series unfolds from the viewpoints of three key players - the multiple murderer John Christie, his wife Ethel, and their neighbor Timothy Evans. John murdered at least eight women and was hanged, while Evans was hanged for the murders of his own wife and daughter.

It was later learned Christie killed Evan's wife, Evans was granted a posthumous pardon in 1966 and that miscarriage of justice was said to have been a major contributor to the abolition of capital punishment in Britain.

Ed Whitmore and Tracey Malone are scripting, Craig Viveiros ("And Then There Were None") is directing and filming begins at the end of March. The story was previously adapted by Richard Fleischer in 1971 as "10 Rillington Place" which starred Richard Attenborough, John Hurt and Judy Geeson.

Yep! Up for this.
