Mark Hamill Set To Join 'The Flash,' Reprise Role As The Trickster

During the second-half of The Flash's first season, Barry will face off with a tricky foe, and one he has fought before ... sort of.

EW can confirm that Mark Hamill will join the cast of The CW's superhero hit to play a new version of the Trickster, a role he took on in the original 1990s Flash television series. Hitfix originally reported the news.

This new interpretation of the Trickster, who appears in the show's 17th episode, places him as a con man living out a life sentence at Iron Heights. Barry and Detective West will need to call on his help when a wannabe Trickster begins attack Central City.

This role will of course reunite Hamill with another Iron Heights inmate-Barry's father, who is played by the Flash from the from the '90s TV show, John Wesley Shipp.

SYFY DEVELOPING KRYPTON TV SERIES FROM DAVID GOYER

Syfy and Warner Horizon Television are developing Krypton, a new one-hour drama series. David S. Goyer (Constantine, Da Vinci's Demons, Man of Steel, The Dark Knight trilogy, upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice) and Ian Goldberg (Once Upon a Time, FlashForward, Terminator: Les chroniques de Sarah Connor) are the ones executive producing the DC Comics offshoot.

Krypton will focus on Superman’s grandfather, the father of Jor-El, and is set quite awhile before the planet explodes.

Official series description:

Quote
Years before the Superman legend we know, the House of El was shamed and ostracized. This series follows The Man of Steel's grandfather as he brings hope and equality to Krypton, turning a planet in disarray into one worthy of giving birth to the greatest Super Hero ever known.

Goldberg is writing the pilot teleplay, based on a story conceived by Goyer & Goldberg.

Tomorrow People's Peyton List Joining The Flash As DC Comics Villain

The Tomorrow People's Peyton List is joining The Flash as the civilian alter-ego of DC Comics villain Golden Glider.

Golden Glider's real name is Lisa Snart and she is the kid sister of supervillain 'Captain Cold' Leonard Snart, who is played in The Flash by Prison Break actor Wentworth Miller.

List's Flash debut in an early 2015 episode will see Lisa Snart trying to prove herself to Captain Cold's criminal gang, according to Access Hollywood.

Lisa uses her sexuality to entrap STAR Labs engineering expert Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes), a character known for his weakness for attractive women.

List is a veteran of FlashForward and Mad Men, aside from starring in last season's The Tomorrow People.

Her former Tomorrow People co-star Robbie Amell also appears in The Flash as Firestorm.

The Flash has also established that Captain Cold's gang will include Miller's former Prison Break co-star Dominic Purcell as Heat Wave.

The CW's DC Comics adaptation returns from its winter hiatus on January 20, 2015 with 'Revenge of the Rogues' in the US.

Melrose Place's Nicholas Gonzalez Boards The Flash As Cisco's Brother

The Flash has cast Melrose Place actor Nicholas Gonzalez as Cisco Ramon's (Carlos Valdes) older brother Dante Ramon.

An episode airing in 2015 will see attractive and charismatic Dante having to rely on Cisco's engineering expertise to survive a calamity, reports TV Line.

The brothers have long had a contentious relationship due to unsuccessful pianist Dante harboring envy over Cisco's success with STAR Labs.

Dante's first appearance will occur in the same episode that features The Tomorrow People's Peyton List as DC Comics character Lisa Snart, the kid sister of supervillain 'Captain Cold' Leonard Snart (Wentworth Miller).

Carlos Valdes recently spoke about the destiny of his character Cisco Ramon, who in the comics would go on to become the hero Vibe.

"I have had excessive conversations with [executive producer] Andrew [Kreisberg]about Vibe and Cisco's future,"Valdes teased earlier this month.

Valdes continued: "The appeal of these shows is that you get to learn the backstory of these characters and how they become these superheroes.

"So whether Vibe is a part of Cisco's future or not is really still up in the air, as far as what we've talked about."

Buffy's Michelle Trachtenberg Joins Sleepy Hollow

The second season of Fox's surprise hit Sleepy Hollow hasn't been quite as good as year one, but it started to ramp back up with the mid-season finale.

Along with ramping up the world-saving stakes in the wake of a major shift to the show's mythology that came at mid-season, the back half of season two will also see the addition of a fan-fave genre alum in Buffy The Vampire Slayer's Michelle Trachtenberg. The former "key" will play Abigail Adams in flashbacks, wife to the country's second president, John Adams. This being Sleepy Hollow, she'll also have a shadowy connection to Katrina Crane.

Considering we don't know much about where the show is heading after taking out one of its founding baddies. It seems the flashbacks will definitely play a key role.

Extant Season 2: Who's In? Who's Out?

CBS' Extant is readying some of its cast for blastoff.

Due in part to a shift in storyline focus for season 2 - in which Halle Berry's Molly will search for her alien offspring - original players Goran Visnjic and Camryn Manheim will only return for a couple episodes. Deadline reports, while Hiroyuki Sanada and Michael O'Neill won't return at all.

So, who's definitely on board for season 2 of the summertime drama? In addition to series lead Berry, Pierce Gagnon (who plays Molly's android son Ethan) and Grace Gummer (Meryl Streep's Daughter)         (Humanichs partner Julie Gelineau) will return as series regulars, while a few new roles have yet to be cast.

Extant premiered in July to 9.6 million viewers and a 1.6 rating, but by its Sept 17 finale had slipped to 5.4 mil/1.0. TVLine readers gave the season as a whole a grade of "C +" It, along with Under The Dome, was granted a renewal in early October.

Starz has ordered a follow-up series to the cult “Evil Dead” film franchise, titled “Ash vs. Evil Dead.” The new show will reteam director Sam Raimi with longtime producing partner Rob Tapert and star Bruce Campbell, who will reprise his iconic role as Ash, the stock boy, aging lothario and chainsaw-handed monster hunter who has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead.

Atkinson Up For CBS's "Supergirl" Series

Former "Hollyoaks" star and "Devil's Pass" actress Gemma Atkinson is the latest name rumored to be slipping on the spandex for CBS' upcoming TV series take on "Supergirl".

British tabloid The Sun reported the news and says Atkinson apparently auditioned for the show recently and is "waiting to hear whether she has been cast" in the role of 24-year-old Kara Zor-El.

Greg Berlanti ("Arrow," "The Flash") is producing the series which sports two female leads, the other being Kara's secret government agent foster sister Alex.

Claire Holt ("The Vampire Diaries") was previously rumored for the role, though her name was quickly dismissed due to her commitments to both "The Originals" and "Aquarius".

Atkinson Up For CBS's "Supergirl" Series

If like me you don't know who Gemma Atkinson is and Google her name, I suggest you don’t do it at work because almost all images of her are photo shoot pics in her underwear or in a bikini. Is she really an actress?

Also the Supergirl character is supposed to be 24 years old and they are looking for an actress in the 20-26 age range while Atkinson is 30.

It's more likely the story was put out there by Atkinson's people just to create some buzz around her.

Not to mention the first to breast err sorry break the story is British newspaper The Sun, and they probably just wanted an excuse to show bikini shots.

Thanks you for giving this site's readers the opportunity to think critically and to judge credibility of an information.

I managed to find images of Gemma in which she's fully dressed smile
