Outlander returns April 4th on Starz

Though some might argue that Starz"s Outlander is just getting to the good stuff --- ahem, sex between its two leads --- fans will have to be patient. After its midseason finale Saturday, the show won"t return to Starz until April 4, 2015, at which point it will air the final eight episodes of the first season.

Last week"s episode, "The Wedding" in which Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan) got married and did the deed, gave the show its best ratings yet, the network is touting, with 3.8 million viewers, which includes the first three days of DVR playback. And yet, shippers are going to have to wait more than six months for the show to return to finish off its first season. Even more Outlander is to come though, as it"s been renewed for a second season.

Gonna be a long winter without Outlander going great guns at the moment, didn"t think the show would be my cup of tea, but absolutely love the show. so be it spring will after do Damn!

"Agent Carter" Adds Dominic Cooper To The Cast

In news surprising to no one, Agent Carter has officially added Dominic Cooper to its cast, Marvel announced on Tuesday.

Cooper, who plays Tony Stark"s father, Howard Stark, first appeared in Captain America: The First Avenger alongside Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell), the lead of ABC"s upcoming midseason series. Cooper also briefly appeared in the Agent Carter-centric Marvel One-Shot.

Carter stars Atwell as the titular agent, who deals with being marginalized once WWII ends. In the wake of losing her love, Steve Rogers, Carter navigates the world of the SSR, the forebear to what we now know as S.H.I.E.L.D.

They"re Making A "Rush Hour" TV Series

With the "Rush Hour" film franchise pretty much over, Warner Bros. TV has decided to try and reinvent it on the small screen with a prime-time TV series reboot in the works.

"Cougar Town" co-creator Bill Lawrence and Blake McCormick will pen the series which follows a straight-laced Hong Kong police officer assigned to a case in Los Angeles. He finds himself forced to work with a cocky African-American L.A.P.D. officer who has no interest in having a partner.

Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker starred in the original 1998 film and its two subsequent sequels. Brett Ratner, who directed all three films, will serve as executive producer on the show alongside Arthur Sarkissian and Jeff Ingold.

Family comes first, especially when you have young kids.

Alyssa Milano announced she won't be returning for season 3 of ABC's drama Mistresses.

Quote
After two wonderful seasons in Los Angeles, the studio has decided to shoot Season 3 of Mistresses in Vancouver, Canada for financial reasons. It’s with a heavy heart that I have decided that I can’t relocate.
I have two babies under 4. Being a mother and wife comes first, and I just can not uproot my children and separate the family by moving away.
I will miss this job desperately and wish everyone the absolute best

Any resemblance to a certain Los Angeles-based actress who recently debuted her baby bump at a Canadian convention is purely coincidental.

D"Agosto Is Two-Face In Fox"s "Gotham"

Fox"s Batman prequel series "Gotham" has cast Nicholas D"Agosto ("Masters of Sex," "Fired Up") in the role of young assistant district attorney Harvey Dent.

The character, who ultimately becomes the villain Two-Face, will be portrayed here as a charming and idealistic young man who is out to eradicate the corruption that is ruining the city. He"s a happy charmer, but there are dark glimpses of he will become under the surface.

D"Agosto will recur in the first season of the series. He joins a growing list of talent that will become iconic villains in the show such as Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor), Riddler (Cory Michael Smith) and Catwoman (Camren Bicondova).

Dallas Cancelled After Three Seasons By TNT

Dallas has been cancelled after three seasons by TNT.

The cable network confirmed today (October 3) that a fourth season of the primetime soap revival series will not be commissioned.

A TNT representative said in a statement "We are extremely proud of the series, which defied expectations by standing as a worthy continuation of the Ewing saga.

"We especially want to thank the people of Dallas for their warm and generous hospitality during the production of the series."

Dallas was revived by TNT in 2012, with original series stars Patrick Duffy, Linda Gray and Larry Hagman all returning.

The next generation of the Ewing oil tycoons were portrayed by Josh Henderson and Jesse Metcalfe.

The original Dallas aired on CBS from 1978 to 1991.

By heck they took their time, surprised Dallas lasted that long. I thought TNT should have picked up search-and-rescue drama "Scent of the missing" much better than trying to revive a worn out series from the 70s. that was a classic in its heydays.

Kyle MacLachlan is reportedly set to return as Dale Cooper with a number of other unidentified cast members likely reprising their roles as well.

Showtime will also re-air the first two seasons of Twin Peaks, in advance of the new episodes going on air in 2016.

Scarlett Johansson Is Coming To TV

Scarlett Johansson is set to star in and executive produce an eight-episode period drama series based on Pulitzer Prize winner Edith Wharton"s 1913 novel "The Custom Of The Country"

Johansson will play the ruthless and unscrupulous Undine Spragg who rises to the top of New York high society. The series will explore the upwardly mobile and the aspirations that eventually cause their ruin.

Though better known for her novel "The Age Of Innocence," Wharton"s "Custom" has been an influential work and partly inspired Julian Fellowes" Downton Abbey"

ABC Plans An "Uncle Buck" TV Series

ABC and Universal TV are developing a new comedy series based on the 1989 John Candy-led feature comedy "Uncle Buck" Steven Cragg and Brian Bradley are penning the series which Will Packer will produce,

Candy starred in the original as a childish take bachelor who suddenly has to take of his brother's unruly kids when his brother and sister-in-law have to take an unexpected trip.

The Announcement follows a rush of old film titles getting dusted off for small screen reboots. Earlier this week came word of an adaptation of Cameron crowe's 1989 romantic tale "Say Anything" a project quickly quashed after Crowe and star John Cusack slammed the idea on social media.

Such a wonderful movie, back in the eighties not sure whether it would work though. a TV series.

Regarding new series.
For fans of TSCC and the films T1 through to T4, you might be interested to see Kristanna Loken's new film, which she stars in with her father and other actors/actresses. It's about the possible deportation of a young Mexican girl from the US.
It is called Fighting For Freedom and can be bought from Amazon USA or uploaded on Itunes.

Interestingly enough, part of the film is set in a place called 'Love Orchard, USA', which is the name of another of her films.
