LoHG is an independant movie, with a low budget, perfect for festivals like the DIFF or Newport but not for the main screen. That said, this is just my opinion, i have no particular information on a theatrical release. What the actors and director said (see post #25 on this thread) is pure speculation imo.
The Legend of Hell’s Gate: An American Conspiracy and Summer Glau are mentioned on an article about new J.J. Abrams/Steve Spielberg blockbuster "Super 8" b; it happens that kid actor Ryan Lee played on LOGH before moving to Super 8. One can hope Summer Glau follows the same path
Quote
In addition to his leading role in Super 8, Lee will appear in the historic drama The Legend of Hell’s Gate: An American Conspiracy alongside Eric Balfour, Summer Glau, and Jenna Dewan-Tatum
So that means i was wrong; LOGH shall have a theater release, even if it should be a few theaters only. You can also find me on Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr or Youtube
On their facebook it says they're gonna show it online, anyone know if there's a catch or is this a really good rumor???
An online screening of The Legend of Hell's Gate is scheduled on January 27th, 2012 at 3:00 AM CET at Constellation, your online movie theater, before its official release on theater and on DVD.
Edit : In case some of you don't know Jenna Dewan-Tatum, who hosts the online screening, she starred in NBC's 1960s period piece drama "The Playboy Club" (2011), which was cancelled after only 3 episodes aired on NBC because of bad ratings.
I've been invited to a Facebook Event by Legend of Hell's Gate official Facebook account but i have no idea what it means and what i'm supposed to do on such an event. Of course i responded positively since i already bought my ticket for the online screening. You can also find me on Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr or Youtube

I hope Summer will have a lot of screentime and a relatively big role in the movie despite the small number of promotion scenes with her.
Promising that she is quite visible on the movie banner if that means anything. Summer Glau is so awesome, it isn't even funny! Blood for the Blood God! Skulls for the Skull Throne!
