Airing on December 3 will be the Arrow portion of the crossover with The Flash.

This week's episode of The Flash got a 1.6 in adult 18-49 demo and 4.34 million viewers.
It will be interesting to see if the Arrow/Flash crossover gives it a rating boost.

Almost all Arrow fans are The Flash fans as well. But Arrow should gain from The Flash since some Flash fans don't currently watch Arrow.

The crossover helped The Flash get its best ratings since the second episode of the season… but it helped Arrow get its second highest ratings since the series debuted. Over 3.86 million viewers tuned in and even more impressive, the show pulled a 1.4 in its target demographic of 18 to 49… which is the highest the series has done in three seasons. The last new episode of Arrow scored a 0.9 in its demographic.

The Flash viewers, who are younger, tuned in.

Looks like the crossover event proved a winner for The CW in terms of eyeballs too. With those viewers numbers very impressive!

'Arrow' Scoop: Peter Stormare Returning As Vertigo

Peter Stormare will reprise his role as Vertigo in an upcoming episode of Arrow, EW has learned.

The Prison Break and Blacklist alum first made his debut in the season 3 premiere as Werner Zytle, a crime boss who took up the mantle of Vertigo after the death of Count Vertigo (Seth Gabel). The last we saw of Zytle, Oliver (Stephen Amell) had fought off the affects of the new Vertigo drug, which caused fear in its victims, and left Werner tied up for the police. Stormare will pop up again in episode 13, though details on his return are being kept under wraps.

"It's a thrill to have Peter Stormare return as Vertigo," executive producer Marc Guggenheim says. "When people see this episode, I think they'll find that it's a culmination of a lot of elements that we've put into place in the first 12 episodes of season 3. For that reason, it felt appropriate to us to have Peter return since he was the villain of the episode that kicked off all of this madness. It's also just a joy to work with him."

Stormare is the latest in a long line of familiar faces returning this season, including Alex Kingston, Manu Bennett, Bex Taylor Klaus and Caity Lotz.

I thought I would ask 'Summer Glau Please!'

I don't get Arrow writer's obsession with this character. Vertigo was one of the least liked characters in season 1 and yet they continue using it in later seasons...even after The Arrow killed him.

Sound's like 'Marc Guggenheim' is doing a bit of brown-nosing!  Peter Stormare (Vertigo) has got his feet well and truly tucked under the table. I didn't reckon much to the character 'Vertigo' I thought he was a bit of a bland character.

Arrow Casts V's Marc Singer As Matthew Shrieve

Memorable 1980s TV star Marc Singer ("V,"  "Beastmaster") has joined the cast of The CW's "Arrow". Singer will be portraying General Matthew Shrieve, the leader of a group known as the Creature Commandos in the DC comics. In the series, he plays a significant role in the show's flashback storyline.

In other news, executive producer Marc Guggenheim says Colton Hayne's Roy Harper character, who has been decidedly underutilized this season, will have a huge part to play in the next three episodes. This will include between him and Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) which Guggenheim calls Hayne's best work on the show.

Everwood's Gregory Smith To Direct For Arrow

Once upon a time, when there was a TV network called The WB, Greg Berlanti created a fantastic drama called Everwood, the story of a family moves to a small Colorado town after the death of the childrens' mother. The show lasted for four seasons, from 2002 to 2006. We wish it had been on longer.

In the years since, Berlanti has been involved with many successful shows, including one called Arrow that you may have heard of, and almost all of the cast has moved on to big things.

Gregory Smith, who played the young Ephram Brown, continued to be a successful actor, starring and even directing for the series Rookie Blue. Now, his directing talents will help out his former boss as he will be directing an episode of Arrow soon.

21 Sweetest Shipper Moments Of 2014

6.  Olicity Kiss, Arrow

First, the season 2 finale gave Olicity fans the "I love you" they'd been waiting for, only to rip it away as part of Oliver's (Stephen Amell) plan to defeat Slade (Manu Bennett).

But then, the season 3 premiere quickly got things back on track. Not only did Oliver finally ask Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) out on a date, but the pair also shared their first kiss.

Yes, Oliver technically said they still couldn't be together, but at least he followed it with, "Don't ask me to say that I don't love you." Of course, all of that led to Oliver's big confession in season 3's mid-season finale.

Before leaving to fight Ra's Al Ghul (Matt Nable) to the death, he told Felicity that there were only two things he knew about himself: First, he'll do whatever it takes to protect his sister. And the second thing? "I love you"

These Arrow ladies made BuzzFeed's list of Most Important TV Death's of 2014. *sobs*

122 Of The Most Important TV Deaths Of 2014

Quote
Even without the Red Wedding, this was one of the bloodiest years for TV in recent memory. Warning: MAJOR SPOILERS for just about every television series. (Seriously.)

29. Moira Queen (Susanna Thompson), Arrow
Still crying over this one. When Slade Wilson (Manu Bennett) aka Deathstroke, Oliver Queen’s (Stephen Amell) ally turned enemy, showed up in Starling City, he wanted nothing more than to make Oliver suffer. So he kidnapped Oliver’s mother Moira and sister Thea (Willa Holland) and gave Oliver an ultimatum: One of them had to die. But self-sacrificing Moira didn’t want her son to have to make such a painful decision, so she volunteered herself, saying, “There’s only one way this night can end.” Viewers could hear Oliver and Thea crying and begging her not to do it offscreen, but Moira was right. sad

39. Isabel Rochev/Ravager (Summer Glau), Arrow
The eventual CEO of Queen Consolidated did not go down without a fight. After Slade’s assault on Starling City, Isabel transformed into her supervillainess alter-ego Ravager and though she expected a confrontation with Oliver (aka Arrow) and Sara Lance (aka Canary played by Caity Lotz), she wound up also facing the League of Assassins, led by Nyssa al Ghul (Katrina Law), who snapped Isabel’s neck.

90. Sara Lance/The Canary (Caity Lotz), Arrow
Sara was believed to be dead for about seven years before she turned out to be a living, breathing fighting machine in the form of The Canary. But sadly, Sara bit the bullet for real when Thea shot her with three arrows while under the mind control of Malcolm Merlyn/Dark Archer (John Barrowman), causing Sara to fall into an alley where she met her end. Oliver took the fall for Thea and Sara’s sister Laurel (Katie Cassidy) decided that she wanted to be the new Canary in her sister’s honor. Sibling bonds run deep on Arrow.

Shamelessly using the announcement of Arrow's - as well as Jane the Virgin, Reign, Supernatural, The 100, The Flash, The Originals and The Vampire Diaries - early renewal as an excuse to post images of Emily Bett Rickards and Stephen Amell.
