Aquaman Film Or TV Show To Spin-Off From Man Of Steel 2. Aquaman is "a Priority" for Warner Bros says DC"s chief creative Officer Geoff Johns, After years of being a running joke, there"s rumblings of big things for DC Comic"s Aquaman - possibly even a Warner Bros movie to tie in with the universe that"s beginning to spin-off out of Zack Snyder"s Man Of Steel 2. "He"s a priority character for the company," Geoff Johns, who reinvented the character and serves as DC"s chief creative officer, told Variety. "There is no doubt in my mind that this is one of the most well-known characters among superheroes, and in popular culture." There"s an Aquaman animated movie in the works, but that"s not exactly evidence of "Priority" - the DC Animated Universe is a pretty busy place.

"The Professionals" Actor Lewis Collins Dies Aged 67, Actor Lewis Collins has died aged 67. The Professionals star passed away in Los Angeles after a five-year battle with cancer, his agent told BBC News. The was perhaps best known for playing Bodie in the 1970"s TV drama alongside Martin Shaw. His agent said "He died peacefully at his LA home surrounded by his family. Privacy is asked for at this very sad time." The Professionals centred around the cases of the fictional crime fighting unit named CI5. The ITV programme was ratings success in the 1970s and early 1980s. Collins auditioned for the role of James Bond in 1982, but was reportedly thought "too aggressive" for the part. His other roles included SAS captain Peter Skellen in 1982"s Who Dares Wins, George Godley in Jack The Ripper and parts in The Grimleys, The Bill, Cluedo and The New Avengers. I use to love the theme tune to The Professionals it was a catchy tune, RIP Bodie.

Batman Vs Superman Returns To The Kent Farm & Smallville. Not that much of a surprise seeing how Batman Vs Superman sees the return of Diane Lane as Ma Kent, but new images of the Kent Farm have hit the web. The Man Of Steel saw Zod throw a truck threw the Kent home, and now we see It"s getting rebuilt. If you happened to pick up the Blu-Ray, you know they built the house from scratch. The farm they also picked out for the setting was supposed to be growing soy beans, but WB made a deal with the owner to grow corn for the movie. " Batman Vs Superman " has a July, 2015 release starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, and Diane Lane.

Live-Action Young Justice Series In The Works At The CW ?

Quote
There was an outcry last year when Cartoon Network made the decision to cancel the popular animated series Young Justice, but if a new rumour from Bleeding Cool is to be believed, fans might soon be able to see a new version of the adolescent superhero team in live-action form. According to the site, The CW is developing a "teen drama / romance series" based upon the property. Little is known about the potential project, although it"s said that Superboy and Miss Martian will serve as leaders of the team (possibly due to the fact that Dick Grayson / Nightwing is off limits - or Bat-Embargoed - because of a certain Batman Vs Superman ?).

Laurel And Hardy Biopic Stan And Ollie In Works At BBC,  The BBC has a Laurel and Hardy biopic in the works. Stan and Ollie - a 90- minute one-off drama - will be penned by Mrs Biggs writer Jeff Pope, reports Broadcast. The biopic will pick up at the tail end of the pair"s comedy career in 1953, as they embark on an ill-fated UK tour. " Stan and Ollie is Jeff"s love letter to two pioneers and enduring giants of screen comedy," said Shane Allen, controller of comedy commissioning at the BBC. " It beautifully captures the deep emotional bond forged over a lifelong partnership as they reflect on their rollercoaster careers through the prism of this final UK farewell tour. " An epic story about the world"s most famous comedy double-act to date told with great insight and heart," A comedy duo of the early Classical Hollywood era of American cinema, Englishman Stan Laurel and the US-born Oliver Hardy rose to fame in the late 1920s and starred in a total of 107 films together before Hardy"s death in 1957.  Stan and Ollie will be distributed internationally by BBC Worldwide. Farscape Is Back On Netflix " Farscape: Seasons 1-4 (Netflix Instant)
Quote
Farscape has returned to Netflix, giving the Rockne S. O"Bannon series" legions of fans a reason to get up in the morning, even If It"s only to turn the TV on. From 1999-2003, John Crichton and the multi-cultural crew aboard the Moya fled from dangerous enemies, traveled to distant worlds, and tried to open wormholes, all in the name of going against the Peacekeeper establishment. Strong stories and characters - some created by the Jim Henson Company - make this a unique standout in the sci-fi spacescape. Try not to be bothered by the brain-crippling cliffhanger the series ended on, as it was canceled before its time, and just hope that Netflix adds The Peacekeeper Wars concluding miniseries before Scorpius figures it all out and assumes victory.

7 Things You Don"t Know About The New Wonder Woman.
Quote
Gal Gadot is an interesting casting choice in that she"s fairly unknown. Even fans of The Fast And The Furious franchise had to be reminded of who she is. So, we"re going to update you real quick. Here are 7 things you probably don"t yet know about Gal and why we think they make her a pretty decent (but let"s be honest, not the best) choice to play Wonder Woman. (1) She Competed In The 2004 Miss Universe Pageant For Israel. Gal Gadot is one of Israel"s top models, and at the age of 19, she won the Miss Israel title in 2004. She went onto represent the country in the 2004 Miss Universe beauty pageant, though she did not place in the top 15. (2) She Served As A Sports Trainer And Is AN Accomplished Motorcyclist. She has an extensive background in sports training, and is an avid motorcycle rider who favors the black 2006 Ducati Monster - S2R. (3) She Made Her American Acting Debut In Fast & Furious. Gal Gadot was one of the new cast additions to The Fast And The Furious franchise, She is most well known in the states for playing Gisele Harrabo. she went onto appear in Fast Five and Fast & Furious 6, (4) She Served Two Years In The Israeli Military. Its true that the model-turned-actress served two years in the Israeli military while continuing to strut her stuff on the catwalk. working with the Israel Defense Forces, (5) She Is A Well Known Israeli TV Star. before her big screen debut, she played the lead in the Israeli TV series Bubot (meaning Dolls), also Asfur soap opera, and Eretz Nehederet comedy, (6) She Serves As The Face Of Castro, Israel"s Largest Clothing Brand. Since 2008, she has served as the leading model for Castro, one of Israel"s largest clothing brands known around the world. also teaming up with Vine Vera skin care products to promote the breakthrough ingredient Reversatrol, (7) She Loves Her Fans And Strives To Be A Role Model For Young Girls. If being in The Fast And The Furious franchise taught Gal anything, its to love her fans, and believe in them, and give back 100% Which means she"s going to devote herself to the role of Wonder Woman in a way some other actresses might not, and wants to shine as a role model for young girls.

Before They Were Famous Christina Hendricks.
Quote
Christina Hendricks was the lead in Everclear"s 1999 game show-style music video, " One Hit Wonder " and the beauty wasn"t spared the questionable 90s outfits --- or an unflattering shaggy haircut. The redheaded bombshell had steady - if forgettable - work throughout the years, but all that changed in 2007 when she finally caught her big break as Joan Harris on AMC"s " Mad Men " (And hey, seems her infamous boobs are real. Thanks for the forensic proof, YouTube.) But they forgot to mention " Saffron in Firefly " Sure she was only in 2 episodes, but that"s 2 of 14 in a show that"s got a massive cult following.

NBC Orders " Rosemary"s Baby " Miniseries.
Quote
NBC has green-lit Rosemary"s Baby, a four-hour miniseries based on Ira Levin"s bestselling 1967 novel, Deadline reports. Famously adapted for film in 1968 by Roman Polanski, Rosemary"s Baby revolves around a young married couple that moves into a mysterious apartment building, where the pregnant Rosemary becomes increasingly paranoid about the nefarious, and potentially devilish, motives of her husband and neighbors. The network announced the project in July during a Television Critic"s Association Presentation. "As we move into the event movie and miniseries space, Rosemary"s Baby represents the kind of attention-getting, surprising project that will make noise for us, " NBC Entertainment president Jennifer Salke said in a statement. " The story has been updated and moved to Paris, but It"s faithful to the spirit of Ira Levin"s classic novel" Agnieszka Holland ( Treme, The Wire ) is set to direct the four-hour miniseries written by Scott Abbott (Queen of the Damned) and James Wong (American Horror Story). Casting will begin pretty quickly because production is set to start next month in Paris.

Top Sci-fi Costumes Outfits From A Zone Where Cotton Is As Rare As Splice But Slinky Spandex Is Abundant.

Tricia Helfer red dress in Battlestar Galactica

Quote
31! Tricia Helfer - Battlestar Galactica (USTV, 2003) Designer! Deborah Everton. Recognisable glam-wear makes quite an impression in a semi-industrial science-fiction context, as Jacqueline Pearce had discovered 25 years earlier as gown-clad despot Servalan in the BBC"s Blake"s 7. The Strap"s on Helfer"s stunning red number are so lateral to the design as to look cosmetic, and the whole affair looks quite perilous. The rib-exposure at the extreme edges of the upper section precludes the dress being modelled by size-zero food-phobics, and further reinforces the tentative structure of the upper section. In this much the costume obeys the unwritten law of William Ware Theiss"s "Theiss Titillation Theory" which proposes that there is a proportional relationship between the apparent fragility and the manifest sexiness of a costume.

"Walking Dead" Showrunner Drama Continues: Ousted Frank Darabont Sues AMC
Quote
Just when you thought "The Walking Dead"s latest season renewal had gone by without the showrunner shakeups so often associated with the series, it seems the AMC monster drama has a new problem on its hands. "The Walking Dead"s original showrunner and co-creator Frank Darabont has hit AMC with a lawsuit alleging that the network defaulted on upwards of $10 million in royalties. Merry Christmas to all! Via The Hollywood Reporter, the New York-filed lawsuit implies that profit participation issues dating back to early 2011 may have caused Darabont"s abrupt dismissal from the series in July of that year, just days after promoting the second season at San Diego Comic-Con. Neither AMC nor Darabont have been explicit in their explanations for the event, though most recently Darabont took to blasting the "sociopaths" at the network. "AMC"s conduct toward Frank to date has been nothing short of atrocious, "Darabont"s lawyer Dale Kinsella told publications of the network licensing "The Walking Dead" to itself, cutting Darabont off of millions in profits since. "Unfortunately, the fans of "The Walking Dead" have suffered as well by being deprived of his creative talent." Essentially, the suit claims that AMC reneged on a decision to license the original "Walking Dead" episodes through an unaffiliated studio, instead producing the series in-house with a measure designed to maximize profits for itself. Darabont purports to have been purposefully kept out of negotiations for a showrunner"s percentage fee, as AMC waited to determine that the series would be a hit. Thereafter, AMC would continually keep the series in a deficit of sorts to ensure that episodes would pay out less than they cost to make, regardless of how successful they became. It remains unknown if Darabont"s exit and subsequent lawsuit have any ties to follow up showrunner Glen Mazzara"s less-contested exit during the third season, Is "The Walking Dead" worth the continual headaches it provides to AMC?

The 13 Best Dramas Of 2013
Quote
#7 - Orphan Black  The coolest new show of the year, this BBC America clone drama turned Tatiana Maslany into a star, The actress played seven different characters, all extremely different, and she frequently had to play one of the clones pretending to be a different clone. The complex story truly hinged on its leading lady being able to pull all of this off, and thankfully Maslany fit the bill.

Dear Santa TV Shows We Want Back
Quote
" Carnivale " As a kid, I never dreamed of running away with the circus. Until I saw Carnivale for the first time. The dust bowl carnies, evangelist preachers, Knights Templar, circus freaks and ever-watchful Management, it was all alluring and fascinating, and I was hooked. Then in 2005, it was all ripped away without explanation. We were left with a season two finale full of people being shot, sliced up by scythes, healed in cornfields, and secreted out of town in caravans, with promises that all would be explained in season 3. In my mind, they are all still trapped on a ferris wheel in limbo, and part of me is too, There were supposed to be six seasons - we only made it a third of the way through the journey, and there was so much farther to go! Okay, so it wasn"t everyone"s cup of tea and it ran about $2m an episode to make. Those reasons might make sense to some, but I never said that I was being rational about all this. One last thought: Clancy Brown still scares me. I just needed to mention that. I feel better now. Canny little show Carnivale cancelled far too early for the story that was never fulfilled in my eyes. but never-mind Its gone.
