The1Russter is right; it's better to split the sdcc album into several sub-album for a better viewing. You can also find me on Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr or Youtube
I have a question and this years SDCC is a good example. Summer attended SDCC for both the Firefly Panel and the Alphas Panel. Do you have an all inclusive album for SDCC 2012, or do you break it down according to each sub-event? Also, in regards to Firefly, there was the panel and interviews. Do images from interviews and panel go into same album, or do you have separate album under the Interviews category for them? Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
Public Event-Pictures from public events such as conventions, awards and movie premieres.
Interviews-Screencaps from interviews.
Both categories have sub categories for each year etc 2012, 2011,2010 where the albums are listed. Each event get an album with the title event-location-date etc "Comic-Con International San Diego - July 13, 2012" in the category Public Events->year>event-location-date
Having subcategories on the albums page will just look messy and makes it harder to navigate the gallery.
I am not a big fan of using alot of not necessary main/subcategories beacuse I myself always having problem finding what I am looking for in galleries that has. You can't stop the signal!

I created a new album in the 2009 Events categorie, ' Interview Sessions - Tokyo, May 2009' and placed the corresponding pictures that were previously in the 'Summer and Bag in Tokyo' album.
