I hate that CityTV shows it a day earlier. I like to watch it on Monday with everyone else, so I skip the Sunday showing, but getting the spoilers on Monday afternoon kind of ruins it. I don't know why NBC would allow CityTV to air it a day earlier. It just doesn't make sense to me.

I wonder if the early airing on CityTV and the fact that a torrent version is available online has an influence on the potential US viewers; some may be tempted to watch something else during The Cape's timeslot and watch The Cape later.

That wouldn't surprise me. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if hearing what happens in the episode turns some people off watching altogether.

Can we expect a bump on ratings due to NBC exclusivity?

We'll be getting a female villain for the first time tonight. According to the sneak peeks, it's like the writers had to throw in the possession/sex/love interest thing to introduce her, but whatever.

I was hoping for a chick fight but that's more Orwell getting slapped in the face than a proper fight.

Hello guys, I tried to slow down the video of Orwell's wack with the gun from Dice and I can only come up with the fact that it was done with Dice's right hand and she had the gun in that hand. Surely a wack with a gun could cause nasty damage. It will be interesting to see whether Orwell is a good healer or how the result of that can be explained afterwards.
It is probably me, but I hate seeing women getting wacked in general.

I am probably older than most of you but having seen the TSCC, has opened up a whole new world for me and that is my interest in her because I honestly do feel, that she portrayed that naive young cyborg so well.

I have got used to the idea that Orwell is human but it appears many fans still expect or want her to be something that she is not.
(Alright, in this episode we will see whether or not Orwell is a cyborg by her incredible healing capacity but IMO if it is only a small scratch there should still be a massive bruise which will last for quite a while and then yellow and black in time. We will see).

Here is something to think about: "What is the point in having children if they are not interested in SCI FI, TSCC, AI, and all those things?" HUH!!!!

Whenever people say this, I always get a little annoyed. But someone made a comment on the Orwell boards the other day that I kind of liked:

"The fact that so many people assume you want to see Orwell kicking ass says more about their own expectations based on Summer's past roles than it does yours, Chief."

The truth is, all fans writing here and probably on the other boards too, are TSCC fans and everyone is still filled with Summer's performance at playing Cameron. Though i'm a huge fan of Cameron (you should see my wallpapers ;)) i manage to make the difference between Cameron and Orwell.
I want more Orwell screen-time and more Orwell ass-kicking but in a more realistic way than with Cameron. Orwell doesn't have a Hyper-alloy combat chassis and showing too much strength wouldn't match with Summer thin frame.

Btw i think you're overthinking the wack thing; you won't see Orwell with a big scar all over her pretty face like in the pict below

That is what I was expecting. I might have guessed some clever clog would come up with that one. Very good! tongue
