This is the second time I've seen someone mention NBC possibly pushing the return of The Event back one week so that they can finish airing The Cape. It'd be nice if they aired all 10 episodes. They filmed all 10, so might as well air them.

I don't know if the last three episodes are Orwell-centric. Summer and Tom both said Orwell has a big reveal in 107 and 108, but I don't recall either mentioning the last three episodes being Orwell-centric.

The io9 article is based on a "devoted" fan who has send an email to io9 author Charlie Janes Anders : there are no reliable sources confirming what the last three episodes are about.

It's our responsability to this wiki readers to be very cautious about this; to that regard, i think Chief has a good attitude. For what it's worthy, i think this is bulls**t

It is one fan... one angry fan. lol I was talking with him about this last night on the Orwell boards. I'm going to take a wait and see approach to this.

Fermi and i know him very well; we were even friends on a TSCC board. I know he is passionate and a very dedicated Summer Glau fan and i don't want to blame him; but i think this is wrong to spread rumors.
Charlie Jane Anders is dedicated to the cause but i think she made a mistake by giving her article such a title.

This wiki is run by fans and we represents only ourselves; still ethics and honesty means something to me.

Edit : @ Fermi : "great minds think alike" but you're typing faster than me wink

I'm with you guys. I don't want to jump to conclusions and create mass hysteria. The only confirmed Orwell-centric episodes are 107 and 108. That's been confirmed by Tom and Summer, and I look forward to those episodes. smile

personally, i won't campaign for The Cape. I prefer to focus on Summer's next job

Exactly. I think this makes her available for The Avengers. I hope Joss Whedon will not miss this chance.

According to this article, the return of The Event has been pushed back one week, so it looks like we'll get a two-hour finale with 109 and 110 on Feb 28.

Thanks for posting this!
Things are evolving fast, we should have more news shortly. The two-hours finaly would be fine.

Well, I did not say she will. smile I've just said that they got a chance to cast her.

Thanks for reminding about "Charlie's Angels", by the way.

Thanks for reminding about "Charlie's Angels", by the way.

I've just checked and it turns out Josh Friedman is not working on "Charlie's Angels": http://www.imdb.com/news/ni6878920/. He will run another show called ‘Locke & Key’. By the way Nick Stahl (John Connor in T3) joined the cast: http://www.imdb.com/news/ni6841234/.

@Charley

Who am i, pretentious enough to talk about ethics and values but incapable of making a serious journalism work ?

I should have added to my message # 26 that Josh Friedman was not chosen as showrunner for Charlie's Angel reboot ultimately. Instead Smallville creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar will do the job.

And for my (yours?) viewing pleasure here is the opening sequence of the original Charlie's Angel (Jacklyn Smith in a bikini)
