| Quote (michelangelo) Honestly i don't know and i don't think i has been proved which way was correct. I think this is Josh Friedman's wish to leave it to the imagination of the audience. He does it a lot.
That was one of beauties of TSCC and particularly Cameron, isn't it? You never knew what to think. Way better than a linear, predictable show. But I think everybody knows it all too well here so I won't start over....
Summer Glau is so awesome, it isn't even funny! Blood for the Blood God! Skulls for the Skull Throne!

| Quote (Blazius) I don't want to sound too anti-Jameronist again but I think that she was lying in that particular scene. Remember that it was much later in the episode when we see her overriding her "Terminate" command. I think that was the only indication that she was sentient because she could override her programming. Everything up to that point was a lie IMO and that made the pleading scene a bit frightening to me instead of romantic(but its awesome either way nontheless)
I agree with this. She was lying and both John and Sarah were smart enough to not believe her. That was part of the power of the scene for me -- to know that a terminator could lie so convincingly and appealingly that she could cause John to hesitate even when he knew she was lying.
It sent chills up and down my spine. What a great performance by Summer to communicate so many different levels of meaning simultaneously!

| good choice of episodes from thomas dekker, i think a lot of people will share the same views of choice with that selection, samson and delilah, was amazing allison from palmdale, was exceptional because we saw another side to cameron with her distant memories of trying to figure out who or what she is, born to run for the simple fact that we knew it was the final episode and it brought a lot of emotion and tears, the list of favourite episodes is endless they were all unique in ther own way, the story lines just brought the best out of each episode and the acting and the non stop action just made TSCC even better, but close to my heart was the pilot it was the beginning of something special, the birth of TSCC and the show exploded onto our screens with a bang and it didnt let the fans down absolutely awesome,

I like many of the scenes, there are also fights like Cam vs cyborgs, and funny like that moment with the turtle, and the scene between Charlie and Cam when Cam destroyed remains of the robot. Other than that I like the relationship between Cam and Derek, as well as Cam and John when they were in school.
I forgot. None of the Russian-speaking fans TSCC I know of no sympathy with Riley. And I do too. So I like the scene in the garage, where Cameron with her twitching brush scares Riley.

| Interesting article at Craveonline: Best Episode Ever # 26: ‘Terminator the Sarah Connor Chronicles’
Quote Now that the Terminator is coming back to television, we pick the Best Episode Ever for the excellent but short-lived “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.”
[...]
The piece de resistance of “Sampson & Delilah” comes when Sarah pins Cameron between two trucks. Now John can unplug her chip and the scene of Cameron trying to talk him out of it shows how much character “The Sarah Connor Chronicles” could get out of a robot. She begins with logic and then puts on a full emotional display, and Glau is heartbreaking begging John and telling him he loves her. We know we’re watching a robot here, but we’re wondering, does she?

| Ref #23 Very interesting article absolutely loved it, all the episodes where unique in their own way especially the pilot, but yes this episode "Samson & Delilah" was head & shoulders above the rest, Non stop action all the way through Cameron pinned between two trucks, how amazing was that spilling her guts about her true love for John, what an award winning performance from Summer Glau: outstanding. How on earth can the new Terminator that is coming back to television live up to expectations of as they say ( They have big shoes to fill ).

| Reply to # 23: I definitely agree that that particular scene in "Sampson and Delilah" was very powerful. Cameron's pleas sounded so genuine that it made her seem more human and it makes me wonder: was Cameron faking it or was she serious?

| Quote MattM ( ) was Cameron faking it or was she serious? I think Josh Friedman answered that question, probably in the DVD commentaries...but I forgot what he said
Maybe a die-hard TSCC fans could refresh our memory

| # 27 Absolutely love the scenery from the episode of "Allison from Palmdale" very impressive location. Very clever using the location with all the impressive artistic painting appearing in the background. Looks an absolute scorcher of a day for the cast and crew. Nice bit of camera work from the local resident great shots.

| I know that this thread is too old, but it’s theme is diachronic. I agree with the most of the messages in here, about good scenes for TSCC. I like too S2EP01 Samson and Delilah Cameron’s try to deceive John, by telling him they were in love, S1EP08 Vick’s chip nail polish scene, S2EP04 Alison from Palmdale after calling Allison’s mother and others. But, I think I like most in S2EP09 Complications, the scene in the car, where Cameron changes radio station into a another playing a girly song, in front of a wondering John, answers Derek’s phone call with grace and finally reassures John “Everything is ok. Don’t worry about it” with a smile and some rhythmic head movements. In that scene her smile is not to deceive someone, or by an identity crisis problem (like in Allison from Palmdale), but she smiles to reassure John, the same warm way we do. I generally like all the scenes she smiles. Both in Tscc and Firefly, because of her roles, she doesn’t smile often and that makes her smile more precious. This combined with the lovely smile of Summer Glau, makes all these scenes priceless .

| Is this a smile or a smirk? Cameron as she is let in to the library rear entrance by the female student, played by Elise Ivy. 2_11 Self Made Man

She said, "Do you like doughnuts? I have one glazed, one rainbow sprinkle, one cinnamon twist" twice actually. Once to Eric and once to the female student.
Like Catherine Weaver said to Mr Murch, "Doyou know what's extremely rare in the world of computers? Finding one... That'll cross against the light". I said this because Cameron's dough-nut list was not in alphabetic order. Perhaps she listed the donuts from observation instead?
