Did you notice the change in the top menu in Google home page?

The search option for the videos, previously titled "Videos" ( the search results included video from various video hosting services) has been replaced by a proprietary "Youtube" title. Which means that a search for a specific topic will return only videos from Youtube and completely forget other video hosting services.



That happens when a company has a almost monopole and buys all the services connected to its own activity; let's imagine for a second that Google buys Wikipedia, i doubt the Summer Glau Wiki will be referenced anymore by Google.

Fermi is right, Google is Skynet (i hope they didn't hear me saying this tongue )
