game of thrones gains `indira varma` for season four. more casting news from the game of thrones front has been revealed today via comic book movie. we`d already heard recently of `pedro pascal` joining up to play prince oberyn martell `the red viper` as well as `mark gatiss` being cast in a still unknown role, but luckily there`s no mystery involved today. `indira varma` becomes the latest addition to the cast and will be playing the role of ellaria sand, prince oberyn`s lover. varma may not be a well-known actress, but most will recognize her from the critically-acclaimed television shows rome and luther. the currently-shooting season four of game of thrones is expected to begin airing in late march/early april of next year. it maybe several months away, but you can be sure it will be worth the wait.

`game of thrones` season 4 `treme` star michiel huisman joins as --- someone, probably. you know, for an HBO series whose source material has been available in book stores for over a decade, `game of thrones` has become increasingly uptight with its casting. the latest to join season 4 of the HBO fantasy-drama in yet another mystery role is none other than `nashville` and `treme` star michiel huisman, so why all the secrecy, news of michiel huisman casting first arrived over `instagram, where in the actor`s personal trainer posted a photo of huisman working out for the role, suggesting at least a strongly physical approach. the dutch huisman`s casting is the latest mystery addition to `game of thrones` season 4, following `banshee` star `joseph gatt` in a role speculated to be that of wildling chieftan styr, magnar of thenn, and `sherlock` star `mark gatiss` in an unknown part.

Kit Harington Promises More Deaths Than Ever Before On Game Of Thrones Season 4, If you`ve been watching all three seasons of Game Of Thrones, you`ve probably lost count over the number of characters who have met with grisly ends, but we can expect a good few more departures from the cast when the show returns to HBO next year, with `Kit Harington` Jon Snow` promising even more bloodshed in season 4. `More deaths this season than any other,`says Harington during an interview with Access Hollywood, `you`d think they`d turn the deaths down but they don`t. They realize that`s a successful option so they are just killing more people than we`ve ever killed` Game Of Thrones will return in the spring, with new additions to the cast.

`Game Of Thrones` Season 4 `10,000 B.C` Star Joel Fry Joins In Key Book 5 Role. `Game Of Thrones` season 4 looks to be continuing the trends of previous season in adapting more and more of creator George R.R. Martin`s work out of place. Despite covering a period roughly midway through Martin`s third book `A Storm Of Swords` the HBO fantasy drama has added UK actor `Joel Fry` in a key role from Martin`s fifth book as Hizdahr zo Loraq. First appearing in Martin`s book `A Dance With Dragons` Fry`s role of Hizdahr zo Loraq will emerge in season 4 as a `young scion of an ancient Meereenese family who crosses paths with Daenerys Targaryen` per Entertainment Weekly. `Game Of Thrones` lore tells us that dany will next look to liberate the slaver city of Mereen, having reached Yunkai in season 3 finale `Mhysa` after obtaining her army in Astapor.

`Game Of Thrones` Season 4 Casts Struan Rodger As The BloodRaven. Though we`ve no doubt `Game Of Thrones` season 4 will prove every bit of a major ratings splash as its predecessors, even fans of George R.R. Martin`s writing have a difficult time imagining how it will splice together aspects of multiple novels for the increasingly spread-out cast. At least one major character may move significantly further in their story, however, as UK actor Struan Rodger has seemingly joined season 4 in a likely crucial role. Via Zap 2lt, we`ve learned that Rodger has among his online resume the `Game Of Thrones` role of the `Three-Eyed Raven` which as of season 3 had only appeared in its avian form in Bran Stark`s `Isaac Hempstead` dreams. Speculation suggests that Rodger`s personification of the `Three-Eyed Raven` may actually suggest that the character will emerge as Lord Brynden Rivers, better known as Bloodraven, near the end of Bran`s overall arc. The character doesn`t technically appear until Martin`s fifth novel, `A Dance With Dragons` which could suggest that we see Rodger`s figure only in dreams until the latter half of season 4, returning for a more prominent role in season 5.

"Game of Thrones" Season 4 STYR, Magnar Of Thenn Casting Corrected. "Game Of Thrones" season 4 has been the subject of a number of surprise re-castings, but it seems one of the major season 4 roles had been reported wrong entirely. Where a Maltese publication previously presumed "Banshee" star Joseph Gatt had been cast in the Wildling role of Styr, Magnar of Thenn, it has now been confirmed that Russian actor Yuri Kolokolnikov will instead take the role. confirmation of Kolokolnikov"s casting in the popular "Game Of Thrones" role arrives via Entertainment Weekly, though without any acknowledgement of the previous suggestion that Gatt had stepped in to fill the role. Not only was Gatt considered a strong physical match for the tall, hairless character description, but like Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister) and Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth) Gatt had been considered a fan-favorite for the part. In any case, "Game Of Thrones" creator George R.R. Martin"s books describe Styr as a tall, earless Wildling leader of the Thenn clan, who forges an alliance with Mance "King Beyond the Wall" Rayder (Ciaran Hinds) in the Wildling battle against the Wall.

Another New Cast Addition For Game Of Thrones Season 4. Thought we"d had our final new addition to the enormous ensemble of Game Of Thrones for its upcoming fourth season? Well think again. According to fan site Winter Is Coming, ten year old Octavia Selena Alexandru (Ward 3, D"ora) has joined the cast of the hit HBO fantasy series as the Child of the Forest, which seems to indicate that the upcoming season will draw upon George R. R . Martin"s fifth book A Dance With Dragons as well as the second half of A Storm Of Swords.

Nathalie Emmanuel Upped To Regular On "Game of Thrones" For Season 5
Nathalie Emmanuel is getting a promotion on HBO"s Game of Thrones. Emmanuel first joined the hit fantasy drama series as a recurring last season, appearing in eight of the 10 episodes.
She will continue to recur in the upcoming fourth season and is being made a regular for season 5, which has not been picked up yet but that is simply a formality. Emmanuel plays former slave Missandei who has a gift for languages and becomes Daenery"s (Emilia Clarke) confidant and trusted advisor.
She joins fellow GOT recurring player Michiel Huisman, who also recently was upped to regular for Season 5. Emmanuel, repped by ICM Partners, Untitled Entertainment, Stone, Meyer and Ganow and A&J Management in the UK, plays a new female lead in the upcoming Fast & Furious 7.

Dark Horse Announces New Game Of Thrones Figures The Next Wave To Release In July!
The epic HBO series Game of Thrones has won worldwide success and a legion of fans. This audience is clamoring for unique collectibles and merchandise, and Dark Horse has been working with HBO Global Licensing to provide just that, A core item in the Game of Thrones program is the ongoing series of high-quality, affordable, molded-plastic figures of the most in-demand characters.
Building on the success of the previously announced lineup, five new figures will debut to the trade in February at the International Toy Fair, held at Jacob Javits Center in New York.
The nonarticulated figures represent a moment in time from the show, perfectly capturing each character"s true personality. Each figure measures approximately 7.5 inches tall and is based on the likeness of the respective actors. Figures slated for a July 2014 release include Cersei Baratheon, Arya Stark, Robb Stark, Jaime Lannister, and the White Walker. The suggested retail price for each figure is $24.99.
"The Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen figures were snapped up by the fans, and the April releases are already highly anticipated," Dark Horse Product Development head David Scroggy remarked. "We will continue to make these nonarticulated figures, in order to capture all of the small details that would be at risk in a traditional jointed action figure. No corners have been cut in achieving realism and faithfulness to the HBO series."
The Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen figures are available in stores now. Tyrion Lannister, Khal Drogo, and Ned Stark will arrive in early April, just in time for the Game of Thrones season 4 debut.
Just like the past releases, these figures will be presented in deluxe window-box packaging, the graphic design of which further underscores the aesthetic of the HBO series.
