Jessica Chastain Is "Painkiller Jane"

Jessica Chastain is set to both star in and produce a film adaptation of Jimmy Palmiotti and Joe Quesada's iconic graphic novel series "Painkiller Jane" for Lotus Entertainment and Solipsist Films.

Chastain will play Jane Vasko, a New York City street cop who gets recruited by the FBI to infiltrate a major NYC drug and human trafficking ring. In a near death experience, Jane develops regenerative abilities that give her a unique indestructible advantage.

With nothing to live for and no way to die, Painkiller Jane becomes an unstoppable force of nature seeking revenge to those who destroyed her life as she leaves a path of death and destruction in her wake.

Lenny Beckerman and Stephen L'Heureux will also produce.

This sounds like a pretty awesome movie, and she's a phenomenal actress.

Britton, Platt Join The Wonder Woman Biopic

Acting veterans Connie Britton and Oliver Platt have joined the cast of Angela Robinson's "Professor Marston & The Wonder Woman".

The film details the true story of Harvard psychologist and Wonder Woman creator Dr. William Moulton Marston (Luke Evans) and his fellow psychologist and inventor wife Elizabeth (Rebecca Hall). Together the couple had a polyamorous relationship with Olive Byrne (Bella Heathcoate), a former student of Marston's and an academic in her own right.

Britton will play Josette Frank, an uncompromising psychologist who thought Marston to be anti-feminist and believed his ideas were dangerous. Platt plays M.C. Gaines, the hot-tempered editor at Sensation Comics who discovered Superman.

The project recently wrapped filming. Amy Redford, Andrea Sperling, and Terry Leonard are producing.

TheWrap shared details about the Twentieth Century Fox reboot of John Carpenter‘s 1981 cult-classic 'Escape From New York' following Kurt Russell's iconic character Snake Plissken.
The following paragraph caught my attention.

Quote
New York City isn’t a maximum security prison.

Weird, right? Because New York being a prison was kind of crucial to the whole “escape from New York” concept. In the reboot, New York is breathtakingly lovely. Manhattan is the island we know, but with more towering glass structures and a high, undulating glass wall. The sky is alive with drones as serene as bees, and artificial intelligence controls all in the form of an ethnically ambiguous, cheery young woman called April. A small staff of technicians and researchers known as “Seers” monitor all.

What if Summer played April? It wouldn't be the first time she has played an AI.

What if Summer Glau played April in the 'Escape from New York' reboot?

Does anyone recognise her?

[Edit add]  You guys are very quiet, so I've added another one also taken some time in 2015.  (Think duckies).

Xander Berkeley is 61 today.

This is how I most remember him, although I've seen him in other TV series recently.

Nice picture eh?!

# 533 Admirator.  Haha, yes what with that and estrogens that turn men in to women, instead of staying in the cow to promote (something, fertility perhaps?)

How lucky was I?  I found this:
http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_2869-Chevrolet-Camaro-1979.html

I honestly did not recognise her either, but after looking again it is clear to see it is her.
Shirley Manson adores her.
There is one more episode of 100 things to do before high school.  I'll get more pictures.  I have plenty already but not sure if anyone would want to see them.   I'm not in to kiddy humour programs but sat through it for 25 minutes to see how many times she appeared on screen.
I thought it was very noble of her and the other teenagers to do a children's comedy program.  They get paid for it... obviously.
After hearing her speak, I get the impression she is a typical girl of her age.  Intelligent speaking - I most certainly could not act.
Shame she'll never be an adult Savannah Weaver in the Resistance of the future fight against Skynet.

Just because one didn't answer doesn't mean one didn't take a look at it wink
Mackenzie is all grown up and it's not easy no recognize the little girl who played Savannah Weaver.

Thank you for following the career of former TSCC actors and posting about them in this forum.

So the late Carrie Fisher was in Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015) and also in Star Wars: Episode VIII (2017), since filming wrapped on July 10th 2017.

Not sure what will happen for her iconic character Princess Leia Organa in the next Star Wars movie. Will they use a CGI version like in 'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story'?

Did you notice Arrow's Stephen Amell and TSCC's Dean Winters share a scene together in 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows'?

James Cameron is making another Terminator film. Maybe he'll have a part for Cameron or Allison! How cool would that be?

Quote
He’ll be back! James Cameron, who regains certain rights to his prized creation The Terminator in 2019, is godfathering a new iteration of the film that might finally get it right in drawing a close in the battle between humans and Skynet. Sources said that Cameron, whose copyright reversion happens 35 years after the release of the 1984 classic, is in early talks with Deadpool director and VFX wiz Tim Miller to direct a reboot and conclusion of one of cinema’s great science fiction tales.

It would be cool but unlikely.  I still think it would be great, under the right direction, that Summer would make a great Cameron in her own series.
Perhaps a series with a difference.  Any and many scenarios.

They thought they couldn't get a strong enough female lead from GoT to play the next Sarah Connor.
Haven't you heard? They decided that Hafthor is the next Sarah Connor.
