HBO has renewed its fantasy series Game of Thrones after airing only one episode.

It is based on George R.R. Martin’s second book in his Song of Ice and Fire series, A Clash of Kings. Lena Heady have a role in this series.
Anyone seen it?

Great news for the serie and Lena Headey. HBO doesn't usually treat its serie the way broadcast network do.
Middle-age fantazy is not my cup of tea though.

The nomination of Peter Dinklage at the Emmys Awards for Best Supporting Actor is buzzing these days. His chances to be nominated in the final 5 are slim though.

The question is : does someone who has not read the books can enjoy the show?

Judging by the positive buzz around the show, i'm tempted to say yes. Of course, those who likes to read are invited to do so.

I haven't read the book(s) and I have enjoyed the show. Although I must say that the story has taken a discouraging turn recently.
