Thanks for the videos Charley! It would have been a tedious work to search for all these stunts on TSCC videos. It looks like Sonja Munsterrman is much taller than Summer; Heather Arthur matches better Summer's thin frame.
Am i the only one who thinks to this when he reads the name Sonja ?

The first character that comes to my mind when I encounter a name Sonja is Sonya Blade from "Mortal Combat". I'm not sure why: I'm not a big fan of the movie and I only played the first version of the game a few times back in mid 90-s.
Besides that I can think about at least two real people with this name. Cameron: My brother says if you want to be good at anything, you have to practice every day.
You can find the firstname "Sonja" on a lot of different cultures; we spell it "Sonia" in france but the way it is spelled here come from North Europe (so does Munsterrman, from germany probably). I guess Fermi knows a lot of Sonja You can also find me on Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr or Youtube
It is with great pleasure that I present to you Summer Glau's stunt double on Arrow, a young stunt performer from Vancouver named Melissa Jin.
When I announced the blog post on Twitter "Meet Summer's Stunt Double on Arrow", Arrow stunt coordinator James Bamford recognised implicitly that Melissa is Summer's stunt double
Have there been moments where you've noticed a stunt double in place of Summer?
The only instance I can think of is in "Serenity", when they're doing the heist at the beginning of the movie, and the Reavers first show up. River senses them, and she falls onto her back. If you watch that shot in slow-mo, you'll see it's not Summer falling backward, as the actress keeps her face away from the camera, but you can still tell from the cheeks that it's not Summer. Also, if you look at the actress' bare feet, you'll see her feet are a little bigger and have a much different shape than Summer's.
That's actually kinda funny to me. Summer beats people up, jumps off trucks, clings to ceilings, and it's falling onto her back that she needs a double for. "My favorite thing about River is that she gets to be barefoot so much of the time. I don't like shoes very much." - Summer Glau
In TSCC when Cameron fights Vick in the Resistance hideout and they tumble out of the window hitting the opposite wall then falling into the alley you can tell a stunt double is used for one shot but they obviously had to because it's a pretty rough fall complicated by the fact of it being two people at once and the guy might not really be a T-888 but it would still be bad if he landed on you from a 2nd/3rd floor window.
I merged the thread you created with this one, for obvious reasons. I'm sure you will find in this thread interesting comments related to Summer's stunt double. You can also find me on Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr or Youtube

Thats true.. Safety first.. stunt doubles are trained and often padded so they won't hurt each other also the wall was padded..
what the result will be when you neglect Security of your cast & crew has been seen on the set of the Movie "midnight riders" where the second camera Assistant Sarah Jones lost her life due to an gross Negligence of security Paired with a huge chunk of Stupidity! "I saw the victims of a senseless crime, I was reminded that we don’t know when or where our time on Earth will end. When or where we will breathe our last breath." -- Jessica "Redfield" Ghawi
While going through the screencaps for the Arrow episode "The Man Under The Hood" and coming across images of the brief fight scene between the Green Arrow and Isabel Rochev, I noticed that Melissa Jin (Summer's stunt double) was performing the hand-to-hand combat. The image below shows that it is certainly not Summer throwing a kick.
Another giveaway that made it obvious that it was a stunt double playing out the fight scene was that Isabel was wearing flats instead of stiletto high heels (for practicality purposes, obviously).
Just out of curiosity, did anyone else pick up on this?
