LA Times photographer David Strick got the opportunity to visit the TSCC sets in Summer 2008 and took some cool on-set photos featuring Summer Glau, Lena Headey and Thomas Dekker and the folks behind the scenes who make TSCC possible. He also snapped portraits of our favorite lead trio of actors.
Check out these great TSCC season 2 behind the scenes photos of the cast during the filming of the "Allison from Palmdale" episode on July 17, 2008 and the "The Mousetrap" episode on August 1, 2008.

Summer Glau made it to #63 on the 2014 Maxim Hot 100 list, thanks to the fans who voted for her. Shortly after they revealed the results, Maxim magazine published a brief chat with Summer about making the 2014 Hot 100 list and her best qualities.
And now the special Hot 100 issue of Maxim magazine is available on newsstands or online. Find below the photo of Summer and the accompagnying snippet, taken from the digital edition of Maxim.

Summer Glau, Shirley Manson and showrunner Josh Friedman attented a Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles Q&A panel at WonderCon 2009 on March 1st in San Francisco to promote TSCC season 2. IGN took the opportunity to interview Summer Glau. In this video interview, Summer talks about what will happen to her character Cameron Phillips in the second half of the second season of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
I love her smile when the interviewer asks her about future John's involvement with Cameron. And she calls it a romance! Well two things are obvious, Summer loves her character very much and she is a Jameron shipper.
Summer also talks about the burn scene at the end of the season two premiere and the imagery of her "cadillac coffin" and how she looked like Dracula while lying there with her hands crossed on her chest, then she turns into a princess with the way that John helps her out of the car.
Summer Glau is just her natural self, her shyness and cuteness are her biggest traits, that's why her fans love her so much, and she looks really adorable in that interview. And I love the Batgirl t-shirt she is wearing...
Here are some HD screencaps of Summer Glau from her interview by IGN at WonderCon. If you like watching Summer's facial expressions, this is the post for you. Summer has probably one of the most expressive face on television...and without a doubt one of the loveliest!
Summer Glau's reprogrammed Terminator Cameron in the TV show Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and Chloe Moretz's vigilante Hit-Girl in the movie Kick-Ass have in common the fact that they are two of the most badass girls (well, technically a cyborg for one of them) in recent movie/tv show history. On the fashion front, Cameron and Hit-Girl's most iconic piece of clothing are without a doubt their purple leather jackets.
Summer Glau's character Cameron was very complex as she had to balance herself between human abilities and robotic nature. She was supported by tremendous outfits that enhanced sensitivity of the role. Her attractive leather jacket having purple color gained instant popularity after her role was introduced in the series and Cameron even showed concerns about it when the Connors where robbed. FYI, Summer Glau rocked on in a leather biker style jacket by Rock & Republic.
Find below a description as well as photos of the iconic purple leather jacket worn by Summer Glau as Cameron in 'Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles'.

Fox's Friday sci-fi 2009 lineup kicked off with a double feature of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and Joss Whedon's Dollhouse. To mark the occasion, Fox released a series of cheesy videos featuring Terminator's Cameron (Summer Glau) and Dollhouse's Echo (Eliza Dushku).
We have gathered for you the trailers and promos for this weekly double feature, including outtakes from the Summer Glau/Eliza Dushku promos.
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles / Dollhouse Grindhouse TV Promo
Check out a gritty little video inspired by the Grindhouse age of cinema. The purposefully grainy promo shows Terminator's Cameron (Summer Glau) and Dollhouse's Echo (Eliza Dushku) — Friday night's "Dames of Deception" — kicking ass, shooting guns, and generally wreaking havoc. Their new tagline: "Hotter than Hades, soulless, and smart." There's also a campy invitation to "el fuego your Fridays."
FOX FUN Friday: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and Dollhouse TV Promo
After the Grindhouse trailer, Fox released a new promo video for its Friday sci-fi nights. You get to see all the strong women on TSCC and Dollhouse - get ready to add some FUN to your Friday night!
Summer Glau and Eliza Dushku Host the Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Dollhouse Double Feature
The male audience of TSCC and Dollhouse loved the promo videos for FOX's Sci-Fi Friday nights focusing on the lovely leads Summer Glau and Eliza Dushku in sexy outfits but FOX's approach also made some of the female fans cringe. While TSCC is one the most intelligent dramas on Television back in the days, network executives will be network executives, and when they see Summer and Eliza, they don't see past the fact that they are, obviously, quite pretty.
Summer Glau and Eliza Dushku Fox Promo Outtakes
One must assume Summer and Eliza were corpsing so much because they, like we, felt how cheesy their promotional lines were (see promo video above).
I'm glad to see the two got a few laughs out of the experience. Summer Glau even says "Damn it" (at 0:12 of the video), which is as close to swearing as you will ever hear out of her sweet mouth, thus far.
But after using Summer Glau as candy to attract more viewers, you would think Cameron would be on screen longer than a few minutes (The Summer Glau/Eliza Dushku promo video aired before TSCC S02E14 "The Good Wound"). It probably pissed of new viewers who tune in because of the promo to see Summer as a ass-kicking-machine, only to see Sarah battling with her wounded leg.
Sure these clips were a bit cheesy, but these outtakes (last video) show they knew it too. And I'm grateful Summer and Eliza were willing to help with the promotional process.
Take a look at the Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles press kit made by Virgin to accompagny the series premiere on the UK channel on February 21, 2008.
This promo collectible was limited to six copies and was never available for purchase in stores. It was a competition giveaway for Virgin 1 over there in the UK.
This Virgin 1 Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles boxset features a 18" Terminator with glowing eyes, a plasma rifle, a hand and a DVD with the first episode on it.
The outer case is a heavy acrylic slide cover with a foam insert that slides in. The endoskeleton is not a T-888 as depicted in the TV show, it's a repackage of a Terminator 2 T-800 action figure (see picture with Summer Glau below).
And now to the pictures:
Here a picture feauring Summer Glau holding one of those Terminator 2 T-800 action figure at the Los Angeles Comic Book and Science Fiction Convention on January 13, 2008.

Thanks to Ricardo we got some new great additions to the Gallery
This is an action figure of Cameron from the episode "Born to Run" prison break scene. All of the clothes were hand-made, except for the jeans and gloved hands.
Ricardo also got the opportunity to met Summer Glau at 2013 Chicago Comic Con. He told us that she is a wonderful person and she autographed the base of the action figure, she was very impressed by it.
TSCC actors Thomas Dekker, Summer Glau and Leven Rambin attended Spike TV's Scream 2008 Awards held at the Greek Theatre on October 18 in Los Angeles, California.
Summer Glau was nominated in the 'Best Actress in a Science Fiction Movie or TV Show' category (won by Milla Jovovich) while Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles was nominated in the 'Best TV show' category (won by Dexter).
Here are photos of Summer, Leven and Thomas backstage:
