In conjunction with the release of Terminator Salvation (T4), an exhibit featuring the cyborgs from the Terminator franchise was on display at Miraikan (National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation) in Tokyo from March 19 to June 28, 2009.
It offered a unique glimpse at the models and costumes used in the filming of the movies, along with details about the makeup and special effects.
While promoting the release of Terminator : The Sarah Connor Chronicles on blu-ray in Japan with Brian Austin Green, Summer Glau was invited to visit The Terminator Exhibition; much to her surprise, Summer Glau discovered a full-scale representation of her as Cameron. Indeed she didn’t know that her "double" was there (hence her look on photo #1); her bust had been hidden with black cover untill the real Summer Glau came up.
