Uh-oh. Looks like AnnaSophia Robb as Carrie Bradshaw in "The Carries Diary" and Summer Glau as Cameron Phillips in "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" got the same “rainbow print belt with double heart clasp” memo.
These wide elastic belt were majorly popular in the 70's and 80's and give AnnaSophia Robb's chic getup a vintage flair, which is perfect for her character who is trying to navigate in the world of fashion in New York.
At first sight, it might seem strange to see a Terminator wear a rainbow belt, since the rainbow is a symbol of Peace among all men, not to mention the heart-shaped clasp. But then one has to remember that Cameron and John lead a double life, one as average teenagers going to high school and posing as brother and sister, and the other as the future leader of the Human Resistance and his Terminator protector fighting Skynet. Cameron's rainbow belt with hearts on it is more of a way to achieve her mission by blending in than a fashion accessory. However, Judgment Day is never far away, as evidenced by the skulls printed all over her bag.
Our vote: Summer Glau by a nose, because Cameron's rainbow belt paired with punks skulls has a considerable symbolic meaning.
