On the same topic, check out the photos taken at this year Philadelphia Comic Con and Chicago Comic Con. You can also read the following blog posts: Be Sure to Wear Flowers in Your Hair, The Story Behind the 'Mystery Meal' Photo Op with Summer.
For those who went to Chicago Comic Con last week-end, you probably met in the show hall some gentle people wearing flowers in their hair.
In addition, you may have seen all across this site photos of the Firefly gang - Summer Glau, Morena Baccarin and Alan Tudyk - wearing flower crowns, these ones:
Summer (Glau) time was filled with love there, not to mention that Morena Baccarin was obviously pregnant. All accross the convention, you could see people in motion, eager to celebrate their love for the celebrity guests.
I was wondering where this strange vibration came from and came up with the following explanation: Summer, Morena and Alan's flower crowns were offered by a shiny cosplayer named Maya Dinerstein, aka Ask Kaylee Frye, who said:
I actually met Morena a bit earlier in the day because her signature line was so small, me and a friend snuck in and gave her flower crowns (for her and Alan and Summer). She wore hers the rest of the day, it did match her outfit.
Side note: if the title of this blog post or my prose sounds familiar, it's because I thought the lyrics of Scott McKenzie's song "San Francisco (Be Sure to Wear Flowers in Your Hair)" would fit perfectly.
