Michael Jai White as Bronze Tiger,
Kelly Hu as China White and Stephen
Amell as Oliver Queen in Arrow's Identity.
Boosted by the awesome season premiere 'City of Heroes' and rave online reviews, the second episode of Arrow scored the best numbers in the coveted 18-49 age demographic since February. The final adjusted TV ratings put last night’s Arrow, titled “Identity,” at 3.06 million total viewers and a 1.1 rating in the key demographics.
Arrow rose 22% over last week in Adults 18-49, 13% in Adults 18-34, 13% in Women 18-34, and increased 12% in total viewers. It was the show’s most watched episode since April 24 and its best in the target demographics of Ages 18-49 since February. DVR viewing saw significant ratings gains: last week’s season premiere grew significantly when DVR numbers are factored in (check out the press release from The CW below).
Fellow Amell-tastic series The Tomorrow People at 9PM had a respectable 2.15 million with a 0.8/2.
Wednesday's episode, "Identity," was the debut of veteran genre actor Michael Jai White as Bronze Tiger, a character adapted from DC Comics lore.
The fact that four CW shows, being The Originals, The Vampire Diaries, Arrow and Supernatural, will be fighting for #1 this year is something to be proud of. Supernatural won last week, this week The Originals and Arrow are tying with both 1.1 (but only 2.2 million viewers for TO against 3.06 for Arrow). We will have to wait for The Vampire Diaries ratings this Thursday (the show scored a 1.0 in A18-49 with 2.14 million viewers last week) and the premiere of Reign but Arrow could very well be The CW number one show in ratings this week.

If you want to help the show get the best possible ratings, it's best if you watch it LIVE at 8pm and DVR the other shows sharing the same timeslot; if you recorded it, it's best if you watch it the same day (instead of watching it 1 or 2 days later). Of course, feel free to spread the word about the greatness of the show around you and on social networks such as Twitter or Facebook. Even if you don't live in the US, speaking about the show on social networks will help to generate and amplify the buzz, all the more so networks have tools to measure the online activity surrounding a show.
Summer Glau's Isabel Rochev will be in episode four of Arrow, 'Crucible' (and hopefully in episode three); check out the production stills and teaser video for the episode.

In total viewers, ARROW saw a 34% gain over L+SD viewing, gaining nearly a million viewers (2.73M vs 3.68M). In adults 18-49, ARROW grew 41% (0.93 vs. 1.3), and in adults 18-34 it increased 27% (0.85 vs. 1.08).

THE TOMORROW PEOPLE also rose considerably in L+3 viewing, rising 27% in total viewers compared to L+SD (2.31M vs 2.96M), up 50% in A18-34 (0.54 vs 0.81) and gaining 34% in A18-49 (0.85 vs. 1.15).
The CW has released a video preview for Arrow 2.03 'Broken Dolls'. At the present time, we don't know if Summer Glau will be in this episode.
Arrow 2x03 "Broken Dolls" - Lance (Paul Blackthorne) learns a criminal named Barton Mathis (guest star Michael Eklund), whom he put away years ago, broke out of prison during the quake and is back to torturing and murdering women. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) offers herself as bait so Arrow (Stephen Amell), Diggle (David Ramsey) and Lance can catch this villain, but the plan goes awry. Furious, Mathis kidnaps Laurel (Katie Cassidy) in retaliation and plans to murder her while Lance watches. Meanwhile, Thea (Willa Holland) and Oliver are stunned when District Attorney Adam Donner (guest star Dylan Bruce) seeks the death penalty for Moira (Susanna Thompson). Oliver asks Roy (Colton Haynes) to help him find the Canary (Caity Lotz). Glen Winter directed the episode written by Marc Guggenheim & Keto Shimizu (#203).
FYI, the current black canary is Laurel lance's presumed dead sister Sara, played by Caity Lotz, but Arrow producers said that Laurel will be Black Canary at some point in the show. So maybe something will happen to this Canary and Laurel will take the mantle in Season 3 or later.
Check out this hilarious motion comic parodying a scene from the season opener of Arrow, 'City of Heroes'. Have fun spotting the Firefly/Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles reference!
Felicity's Bagels is an original motion comic, staring Felicity from tv's ARROW, based on comic superhero Green Arrow. Felicity's Bagels is a tale of woe, crime and deception, set in Starling City (Star City). the tale takes place along the beginning timeline of CW TV's ARROW, episode1, "City of Heroes."
I can't wait to see more episodes with Summer Glau, Oliver Queen and Emily Bett Rickards...based on the scene pictured in the production stills for episode 4, for example.
Executive producer Marc Guggenheim teased us earlier today with the title page of the 9th episode of Arrow.
Shooting is underway on Ep. 209 of #arrow!
At the present time, we don't know if Summer Glau will be in this episode. But we do know Isabel Rochev will appear in episode 2x04 'Crucible'; check out the production stills and teaser video released previously.
