I love how the interviewer is probably not a geek : "never-smiling" Terminator, not remembering Peter Dinklage's name.
But this is a refreshing change from the geeky interviews at comic con.
Kelly Higgins-Devine is fun to hear and Summer felt at ease with her questions apparently.

Hello all: I have not been active on this site for awhile because I have been busy with some freelance assignments. I hope to be back here soon. However, I could not let this on go by without commenting on something I have noticed about Summer in this interview.
Do you notice how she always manages to find a different way to describe something that she has talked about a great deal? For example, when she was asked what LARPing was about, she described it not as “live action role playing” which would have been the response most people would make but rather she went on to describe it as what it is. For most people, we learn by repetition, and after awhile, we stop seeing things for what they are. Routines can blind us at times. But not with Summer.
This attribute she has of finding new and different ways of expressing ideas shows up a lot in her interviews where she always finds a different way to describe something she has talked about before. As well, in her acting, according to Josh Friedman, she tends to introduce things in how her character acts that no else thought of and was not anticipated by the writers and producers. She studies a character; she builds a character; she becomes the character. And this is an actress who has had little or no formal training! How did she figure this out?
I believe her behaviour is the sign of a highly creative mind. I believe she is hard-wired to look for new and different ways of expression and that is why she does this. Some might think, on the surface, that she cannot articulate what she thinks or feels. In fact, the exact opposite is true I believe in that she is highly intelligent and has this gift of creativity and its expression for which she has found a truly wonderful outlet.
And we are all the better for it.

i enjoyed that interview. she is so calm and collected i agree with Alex that she is highly intelligent and she has that special something that i have never seen in other actors or actresses. i don't know how to put it into words but i think you know what i mean?
i am really looking forward to Knights of Badassdom. having being a gamer for many years it will be a treat to see LARPing come to the big screen lol!

You're probably right, she has ways to express feelings and make an audience feel them that few people have.
The fact that she's not outspoken does not mean she has less thoughts than anyone.
Can't wait to have you back and active on the site, we need you

I think that what everyone is trying to express is that Summer is real and genuine not the "Hollywood" fake persona that so many stars have. She is calm and collected because she's unaffected by it all. At Dallas CC I saw here greet each of her fans as if she was there to see them, not the other way around. She is very special.
