French channel NRJ12 is currently broadcasting Alphas, the action-packed superhero drama from writers Zak Penn and Michael Karnow. The first four episodes aired on Saturday, January 3, 2015 in prime time, though NRJ12 will air the next episodes - four episodes in a raw - on Sundays afternoon from now on.
The serie was first broadcast on Syfy France on February 2012 and on NRJ12 on January 2014.
In Alphas, Summer Glau plays Skylar Adams, whose Alpha ability allows her to create technology years beyond our most advanced modern tech - and improvise some very formidable weapons from the most innocuous of objects. Summer guest starred in season 1 episode 7 and as a recurring character in season 2.
Laura Mennell, who plays Nina Theroux – A young woman who is able to mentally "push" people into doing whatever she verbally asks of them - in Alphas, introduces the series for French channel NRJ12.

Brandon Parker is a talented young graphic designer and film student who has a passion for the Terminator movies, Arnold Schwarzenegger, who made the Terminator an iconic character, and Summer Glau, who brilliantly portrayed Cameron, a sentient Terminator, in the TV series "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles".
Brandon and I recently had a discussion where we expressed our desire to see Summer in the next Terminator movies. It was not long before Brandon's creativity took over and he made an awesome Terminator Genisys artwork featuring Summer, a Terminator endoskeleton and Arnold the man himself. The minute I saw it, I knew I simply had to share it with as many people as possible and showcase this kick-ass artwork, with the hopes that it, and the artist who made it, get the attention they deserve.
Check out below Brandon's take on a Terminator Genisys movie art, as well as two other digital artwork based on the Terminator franchise.
Terminator Genisys is expected to reset the future in theaters on July 2015.

Summer Glau is un-bear-ably cute but Summer with stuffed animals wins the cute factor. And to prove this, I've decided to collect from our gallery images of Summer holding or cuddling with stuffed animals, dolls or action figures.
The results are just as adorable as they sound. Have a browse and be prepared to get hit with some heart-melting emotions.

TSCC Behind the Scenes Video: When Cameron Reenacts a Scene From Terminator 2
The Santa Monica pier has been used many times as a backdrop for movies and TV shows. The 100-year-old amusement park includes the beach, of course, a Ferris wheel, a carousel hippodrome - which was made famous by the 1973 movie "The Sting" starring Paul Newman and Robert Redford -, streets performers and is a popular destination for families and tourists.
A scene of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles season 2 episode 3 'The Mousetrap', featuring John Connor tracked down by Cromartie and Cameron, was filmed at Santa Monica Pier and is an obvious nod to Terminator 2.
Check out this Behind the Scenes video shot on Tuesday July 29, 2008, showing Summer Glau as Cameron Phillips as she is looking for John - who ditched her earlier in the episode - in Santa Monica Pier.
As mentioned in the title of this blog post, it seems Terminators love to chase John Connor in Santa Monica. Because this scene in TSCC recalls in an unmistakable way a scene at the beginning of Terminator 2, in which Arnold Schwarzenegger's T-800 and the T-1000 were both looking for young John Connor, filmed at Santa Monica Place (they called it "The Galleria" in the movie), a shopping mall located two blocks from the beach and Santa Monica Pier (see map below).
And if you're not convinced of the similarities, the scene at 1:02 of the video in which Cameron looks with curiosity and interest at a street performer disguised as a shiny silver robot is directly inspired by the scene in T2 in which the T-1000 looks at a shop-window dummy (see screenshots from TSCC and Terminator 2 below).

TSCC Panel at 2007 Summer TCA Tour - Gallery Update
Cast members Lena Headey, Thomas Dekker, Summer Glau and Richard T. Jones, director David Nutter, and executive producers James Middleton and Josh Friedman took the stage for the Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles panel during the FOX portion of the Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on July 23, 2007 in Beverly Hills, California. We have added to the gallery photos of Summer at the event, thanks to Lena Headey Online.

Here are a few impressions from the TSCC panel, thanks to TV Guide's Michael Ausiello.
THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES PANEL
10 am: The million-dollar question: Will anyone ask star Thomas Dekker about his controversial exit from Heroes? I've got 15 bucks riding on no.
10:10 am: Lena Headey is making herself very comfortable. In a TCA first, she's sitting with her legs crossed.
10:12 am: Summer Glau simply "adores" Arnold Schwarzenegger, but her Terminator will be different than his.
10:15 am: A reporter comments that Headey and Dekker are very close in age for a mother and son, to which Headey says, "If only that were true." For the record, Headey is 34 and Dekker is 19.
10:23 am: Scoop! The show's title may be changed to Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
10:26 am: Schwarzenegger is too "expensive" and "busy" to make a cameo on SCC.
10:28 am: Scoop! SCC costar Richard T. Jones will be back for the first couple of episodes of Girlfriends. Says he's unsure what will happen beyond that.
10:31 am: I just sneezed. It was loud and it was messy.
10:36 am: I'm down 15 bucks. Someone just asked Dekker about Gaygate. "It was something that was blown out of proportion," he says of the hubbub. "The character was [supposed to be] ambiguous. Me not appearing on the show anymore has nothing to do with the character [being gay].... I was never under contract." He claims he left Heroes to do SCC.
10:40 am: Gaggle stampede!
Side note: While Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone did not appear in TSCC as flesh and blood, they did make a cameo. Watch the video and screenshots of Arnold and Sly's appearance in the forum.
Record audience for Help for the Holidays on French TV
Summer's Christmas movie 'Help for the Holidays', called 'La Baby-Sitter de Noël' in French, was French channel M6's most watched movie of the week.
All through December, M6 broadcasts in the early afternoon two Christmas-themed TV movies, unseen or not, and this programming is proving to be a success
From Monday, December 15 to Friday, December 19, an average of 1.44 million viewers watched these TV movies, i.e. 17% of the public in front of their TV sets. M6 is thus the second most watched channel in this time slot and reaches its highest audience since October 2006. It is even leading at 15.30 with 18% market share on average.
Summer's romantic comedy, also starring Eva LaRue, who played the role of Natalia Boa Vista on CSI: Miami, aired on Wednesday, December 17 and attracted a record of 1.81 million viewers. This is not surprising if you remember that Help for the Holidays was Hallmark's most watched original movie of 2012.
