Who wants to see never seen before videos files taken from The Alliance database? I managed to get The Operative's logins and therefore could penetrate The Alliance's Database. The classified files contain the personal files of the Serenity crew members, as well as propaganda videos inviting you to join the Alliance Military or to buy a Blue Sun tee-shirt.
The Big damn Heroes Reimagined As Marvel Superheroes
In Joss Whedon's universe, the crew of Serenity seem more like anti-heroes than superheroes from the Marvel universe but prompted by designer and all around geek Foureyedesign's Big Damn Heroes comic cover series, I'm starting to notice the similarities.
Rude, loud and painfully aware of their inner struggles, here's hoping Marvel brings in some Firefly characters to the next Avengers movies.

Best of Philadelphia Comic Con Celebrity Photo Ops
One of the reasons fans attend conventions such as Wizard World is to get up-close-and-personal photos with their favorite actors. These photo ops tend to be standard smile-at-the-camera poses. But sometimes the photos are far more amusing than that. Check out the highlights of Celeb Photo Ops at Wizard World Comic Con Philadelphia 2015, featuring WWE's star Sting, Gotham's Ben McKenzie, Doctor Who's Billie Piper and David Tennant, Arrow's Katie Cassidy and Stephen Amell, The Walking Dead's Michael Rooker, Harry Potter's James and Oliver Phelps to name a few and start getting ideas for YOUR photo op at the next con!

I'm always delighted to see a representation of Summer. Imagine my joy when I came across beautiful portraits of Summer by New York-based graphic designer and illustrator, Nick Moscovitz. I couldn't help myself and asked Nick if I could share copies of some of them with you. He loved the idea and gave me permission to reproduce his drawings. I hope you will enjoy Nick's art featuring Summer, which is based on promotional photos for TV shows such as ‘Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles’ and ‘The Cape’, as well as photos from public events. See it for yourself!
As an aside, I'm very pleased that Summer and her work continue to be an inspiration for artists, whether they are graphic or video artists, photographers - I'm looking at you Joan Allen - or fan-fiction writers. Artistic creativity nourishes fans’ imaginations, fosters a feeling of community, and potentially draws new fans through exposure - which can only benefit Summer herself, the work she’s a part of, and even the artists themselves (whether they're her fans or employers). This in turn feeds the fandom, due to sustained or increased popularity, and so on and so forth... It’s a beautifully symbiotic relationship that should be encouraged and nurtured.
